Thing is Git, I'm pretty sure Bond reads this so there's method to some of the posts. The thing is as the Covid POC test is now CTDA approved it could be used straight away at Heathrow airport to accurately test arriving Chinese. News like that is my only hope of achieving my average of low 80s anytime soon! I know it's cloud Cuckoo land but one can dream!

I guess if molecular testing is required for Chinese arrivals, GDR's POC test would fit the bill admirably due to it achieving a positive or negative result almost instantaneously in contrast to PCR tests which take much longer.

Your attempts to explain away the failure of AlkaMem are increasingly desperate Alt. You must be the only one who didn't believe AlkaMem was nearing at least prototype stage following it's big unveiling in 2019 with it even receiving its tradename at the time. I don't remember you pointing out then or subsequently that it was still years away. Maybe you can repost your warnings to this effect if I'm mistaken. It really is amazing how a hard core of Bond and AFC zealots on here refuse to accept that they have underperformed in 2022 when judged against their own previously announced expectations and that their failure to keep the market and shareholders properly informed as to developmental progress or lack thereof, is totally unacceptable.

For me the big issue with AlkaMem is that when it was announced in 2019 the implication was that it was going to be imminently available commercially. We now know that that was completely untrue in fact AlkaMem didn't even exist back then and possibly still doesn't, in a finished form anyway. Shareholders were clearly misled no doubt about it. Don't forget ABB's 100kw solid cell depends on AlkaMem or something similar but if you look at the research being done on it at Surrey university you'll realise that it's very complex and could take years to perfect. Why do you think AFC had to buy commercially available membranes for the Power Towers? AlkaMem is still very much in research mode in my view.

There you go Alt. The 2019 RNS is very bullish and certainly implies that ALKAMEM is well on the way to commercialisation. Also he was on Proactive at the time bigging it up. But you know all this. You're just getting ever more desperate in your attempts to defend Bond's failure to date. I really wonder why you do this. You getting paid? I included an older post of mine pointing out my concerns on potential difficulties in perfecting AlkaMem as an effective and commercial alternative to PEM.

Change the record Chucky. It's a legitimate view but only my take which could easily be wrong. We'll know soon enough. Bond can't hide forever.

I don't think many would've expected it to take in excess of 4 years to produce a prototype AlkaMem fuel cell when Bond made his optimistic Holy Grail statement on Proactive in 2019 Alt. He deliberately implied that it was nearing reality especially when we were told that small samples of it had been successfully trialed in industry. Having subsequently read some of Dr. Varcoe's research on this it unfortunately appears that a commercial break through in this area is still a long way off. I fear this is the reason for no announcement on the ABB deal. I suspect Bond has gambled, unsuccessfully that Varcoe and his team would come up with a working AlkaMem membrane in time to supply ABB with the required power dense fuel cells. If I'm correct I fear ABB will walk away.

So what was going on before Dr. Harvey's arrival? After all, AlkaMem was announced in 2019! Does he have specific experience in Alkaline fuel cell technology? It makes you wonder what they have been doing prior to his arrival. I mean he obviously helped hugely with the Power Tower design and manufacture, which is all AFC currently have! (other than the defunct Liquid cell). Let's hope he's as good as you say johnny!
