It's nearly November and still no sales or rentals of power towers nor confirmation of the ABB deal. How many times have we been here before i.e waiting for the game changing news? It's all a load of BS and I'm convinced we'll still be in the same position next year and the year after or until the money runs out, which ever comes first. If there was any good news to be had it would be out there by now.

Maybe so Git but Bond's behaviour towards shareholders has been despicable and he deserves to be regularly reminded of that. The blatant manner in which the firm's prospects have been exaggerated is unconscionable. A leopard rarely changes its spots!

Looking at the charts for Plug, Fuel cell etc. it's plain to see that the astronomical spike up in values in hydrogen fuel cell/electrolyser companies circa 2021 has run its course with their SP values having returned to more or less pre spike levels. AFC enjoyed the spike too but now reality has intervened and its SP is also back to more or less where it started. I think we all have to accept that the game's up here at least for the foreseeable future. Maybe if they can start selling units the SP might recover a bit but I can't see it getting back to previous highs. If they pull off the ABB deal then maybe but I fear it's in trouble as AFC seem to be staying awfully quiet about it recently and you know what that usually means.

They may be having more traction in getting their product out to potential clients for trial Git bit it's a completely different product from what we've been told, over many years, to expect. That doesn't sit well with me and confirms that Bond et al have wasted years and millions of pounds going up blind allies. I'm not convinced either that AlkaMem can be perfected easily and will therefore not appear in AFC's products for years, if ever. If ABB stay on board, however , I think AFC can succeed but the silence around that deal is deafening. I'm afraid I can't emulate your AFC epiphany just yet Git but fair play to you for doing a Bondy and changing your mind. Where is Bondy btw?!

Mind you this repeat of the low 70s is getting tiresome. Unless Margherita can turn this around very soon I think she needs to go. She's done zero for shareholders since taking over as CEO.

With Brent crude now well below $90, you'd think there might be a let up in the SP attrition but I sense that there's a determination by market influencers to push airlines lower. I mean how is the current SP justifiable when the company is so busy, profitable and planning significant expansion. Everyone knows that air travel will increase exponentially in the years ahead, hence the scramble by Boeing and Airbus to build ever more aircraft. The demand is insatiable. At some point the market will have to allow fair value for EZJ and others.

Which is why I wonder why so many on here are always convinced that this time it will be different. I used to be like that but there's only so much disappointment one can take before coming to the realisation that the perennial underperformance can't all be put down to bad luck. There comes a point when you have to accept that it's been caused by mismanagement and as the same man is still running the show, I don't see much prospect of that changing. AFC needs a new CEO if it is to have any chance of success.

That's a fair point Guitarman and of course if it works as described it could be used to provide sufficiently pure hydrogen for other companies' PEM FCs in which ever setting they are being used, so I can see the potential. It does bring me back to my earlier point though about finding it hard to believe that a company like thyssenKrupp for example would have to go to AFC energy to source innovative technology. I'm sure their R&D department will be much better resourced than AFC's and therefore capable of developing their own superior ammonia crackers. I mean if Dr. Rendall was such a genius he wouldn't be working for AFC energy, I don't believe as I'm sure he could be better remunerated elsewhere.

Your confidence in AFC to remedy the issues with AlkaMem is greater than mine Git. Also, if they've now gone down the PEM route why have investors not been told and why is the company still called AFC energy?

Anyway, I thought AFC fuel cells could operate with less pure hydrogen. That was meant to be their advantage over PEM fuel cells. With them now emphasizing how pure the hydrogen might be coming out if this new cracker, makes me think that AFC have quietly abandoned alkaline fuel cell technology in favour of PEM. Tell me I'm wrong, Bumble.

It does seem fanciful that AFC have managed to develop a world leading ammonia cracker over other better funded and resourced global companies e.g. Plug, thyssenKrupp. If something seems too good to be true, it usually is! Think AlkaMem. I wouldn't trust Bond as far as I can throw him!
