I can imagine Bond pacing up and down panicking as to why today's block buster announcement hasn't moved the SP. Maybe the penny is finally dropping that those days are over. It'll take hard sales to get this moving and nothing else. The very, very long honeymoon period is over!

I think it also implies that AFC are now going down the PEM route like most other fuel cell providers. Some clarity from AFC on that point would be welcome.

Because it's easier to transport and store when locked into ammonia molecules and you also get more hydrogen as there are 3 hydrogen atoms bonded to one nitrogen atom. Fair play to AFC and Dr. Rendall for achieving these impressive results. Maybe I was wrong to compare the ammonia cracker development with the AlkaMem debacle. I guess now AFC are going to become a purveyor of hydrogen via ammonia cracking. Slight change to the original business plan but I'll take it!

If he's not going to do the honourable thing and resign, then Bond's remuneration package must be dramatically reduced immediately to help pay for a good number of the, no doubt hard working, employees salaries. If he can start selling units in volume and therefore bring in significant revenue, increase it again. I'd say that's fair and should have the support of the overwhelming majority of shareholders. Bond has been rewarded for failure for years so has never had any incentive to start delivering, in my view. If AFC folds tomorrow he'll walk away a fairly rich man whereas us mug punters will leave with nothing! Great work if you can get it, I guess!

Comparing today's market cap for easyJet to its historical value shows just how much it's undervalued especially considering recent profits and passenger numbers. Seems crazy. I suspect it'll be a takeover target very soon!

Great write up MIK, which sums Bond et al up perfectly. You can only bluff your ticket for so long and the EOY results will expose the complete incompetence of this outfit. The Power Towers are not what LTHs were hoping for all these years. The whole thing has been one big hype job and they're still doing . The super duper ammonia cracker springs to mind. This company is an utter disgrace.

Was it not part of the feedback from Acciona and others that the design was too tall and potentially cumbersome/less stable, so I'm not sure why noj would be arguing in support of the current power towers when AFC have agreed to change the design anyway?! Typical ramper I guess!

Spot on Daz. The blatant lack of market research undertaken prior to the design of the Power Tower is now causing problems. I think they just agree an idea and go for it. The incompetence of this outfit is staggering.

Moving at a snail's pace. Why would it take so long to produce one generator? Also, providing one rented generator is hardly earth shattering progress. In fact it's quite pathetic and it hasn't even materialised yet. Bond's deliberately vague second half of the year timescale is a complete nonsense. I look forward to hearing of his sacking, which if things don't pan out as expected in the remainder of 2023, should not be far away!

At such an absurdly low market cap given the recent profit announcement, now might be an ideal time for IAG to make a move towards acquiring easyJet. After all it's what Michael O'Leary said will happen and Luis Gallego has stated that airline consolidation in Europe is essential to compete in the global market. I'd take £5 at the moment!

And even worse today. It looks like the dream of making some decent money on airlines has been scuppered once again. World events with associated oil price rises are destroying sentiment. I'm beginning to think that investing in the stock market has become pointless, unless of course your objective is to lose money!

It's almost like COVID has returned judging by easyJet and United Airlines' shareprice reactions to good results. I don't hold out much hope for IAG when theirs gets announced. Investing has seemingly turned into a mug's game at least for private investors. Logic no longer applies.

VOD is sustaining a nearly 2% rise in the US this evening, which could imply a turn around is possible or even imminent. Based on that hunch, I'll go for £1.20 by year end!

When you see it layed bare like that DW, it makes you realise the depth of Bond et al's exaggerations over several years. How do they get away with it? It's a mystery to me!

Finally, the penny is dropping that shareholders are being taken for a ride here. It's most odd that after years of complete failure, Bond is still in post. I'm not sure any other serious company would've tolerated such failure for so long, so why has AFC? The departure of John Rennocks, Iain Thompson, Robin Koeken and Jim Gibson should ring alarm bells. I'm guessing they got fed up with the false promises emanating from Bond and decided to disassociate themselves from him, by leaving. Why would anyone choose to leave a company on the cusp of greatness? I just hope if this does turn out bad that Bond is held accountable. If on the other hand it all works out, I'll order a large portion of humble pie from Deliveroo!
