Why would you sell when the company might just be about to show it is profitable. It will not then be speculative.

History is irrelevant. What can move up from where we are in market is the important thing

Is it profitable at current prices?. It is clear are earths are important, but we need to dig it up and sell for profit.

I can buy tgr. That is graphite, battery mineral. 6x forecast demand growth. Company producing profitably with chance to go.from 30k to 180k output.

I cannot just buy because they are involved in rare earths. We need to be involved in a profitable way

First news on this was june 2020, so 3 yrs ago.

I think they normally aim for 2 to 4x return. So guess x3 on invested capital.

So maybe 6m usd due. Then there might be outperfmance fee.

If we get luck tanzania will drag their heels to pay out.

While this might not impact how much tanzania ultimately pays, our money will stay invested and i expect our return multiple might increase :)

With recycling i do see wildcard of subsidies in uk and germany. They know they have feedstock and can then secure minerals within country, so all within your own country.

Subsidies for a mining operation out of africa not sure. Bit more of a stretch. Hence less weight placed on mining. As is reflected in price

Stock is still an amazing buy if recyling is profitable. And best time to buy is when price of what comes out of mine is low.

Not really. I am not going to fund a mine that costs me 100 to get something that i sell for 80.

But recycling i am interested in.

The issue is that people are focusing on a study without asking how it looks at current prices. Is it actionable at current prices?

Is there any study on profitability of recycling business. If this underpins current market cap the we have a free option ( being the mining business).

No idea why people quote npv of mine when npv is based on outdated forecasts. Just misleading and pointless

Dfs costs are important. If we have the edge by being correctly sized and having better flow sheet we will be able to expand where others cannot or will not enter

If you had a company slapping put 200pct returns and know they can continue to do that then it needs another multiplier. Just doing mtm on current investments assumes company will stop...but it wont

They are conservative by nature ( hence last to keep coats a/c). They will not mark it up massively and then risk writedowns. Even if some items are making 200%+

I could see 300m aud. That would be conservative 2x on funds employed and we have has some cracking returna on 100%+ recently
