Any early settlement will be months of work in the background. They won't just wake up one day and hand out half a billion usd. There would be massive layers of meetings and approvals.

I think the ceo has a pretty good idea about settlement. All he does is talk to lawyers and local staff all day.

Key point is it is a bonus. Worth remembering that 50m usd on 8m oz equivalent is less than 7 usd an oz.

I think it is always best to strap in for the long hall and treat the early settlement as a bonus.

When you hope for early settlement it is easy for disappointment to set in
