Yes, a very positive step on the road (a quite short road now imo) towards SLP being a producer. The potential for million plus eventual production vols of highly bid SOP from the Goldfields nine licences is impressive and could in not that long a period, make for a global player to rival SQM and SDIC Luobupo. Is the Market awakening to this? GK.

Quiet times as regards market attention on this. not I expect on the ground for the co though. I'm hoping there is soon news on this re the build of the Demonstration Plant at the Williamson mine and ponds on Lake Way. From 12/3 MOU RNS: "SLP will investigate the development of an SOP operation at Lake Way, including initially a 40-50,000tpa Demonstration Plant. SLP will sole fund the evaluation and development of any SOP operation at Lake Way. Lake Way has some compelling advantages which make it potentially an ideal site for an SOP operation, including: -- Substantial capital and operating savings from sharing overheads and infrastructure with the Wiluna Gold Mine, benefits which both Companies would capture. This includes potentially the accommodation camp, flights, power, maintenance, infrastructure and other costs. -- The site has an excellent freight solution, located 2km from Goldfields Highway, which is permitted for heavy haulage 4 trailer road trains to the railhead at Leonora. It is also adjacent to the Goldfields Gas Pipeline. -- A Demonstration Plant would likely be built on Blackham's existing Mining Licences, already subject of a Native Title Agreement. -- SLP would dewater the existing Williamson Pit, prior to Blackham mining, planned for early 2019. The pit contains an estimated 1.2GL of brine at the exceptional grade of 25kg/m(3) of SOP (Refer Appendix 1 for Williamson Pit brine samples details). This brine is potentially the ideal starter feed for evaporation ponds, having already evaporated from the normal Lake Way brine grade, which averages around 14kg/m(3) (.) -- The high grade brines at Lake Way will result in lower capital and operating costs due to lower extraction and evaporation requirements." ----------- Note: "SLP would dewater the existing Williamson Pit, prior to Blackham mining, planned for early 2019." Ponds soon need constructing to take this. Those ponds will then soon have concentrated salts ready to harvest and go to processing, within only a few months later fmu. Looks to me that this moves from 'explorer/planner' to 'producer' as well quite quickly now from here. The 28/3 RNS shows what could be out there wrt total production of SOP from SLP within just a few years down the road. SOP sells at $600+ /t PDYOR. GK.

Morning WoW SLP are flexible in that they can take a staged build up approach with creating production facilities or go strait in large scale if they choose (if they are able to) to raise the significant upfront capital to do that. At present they are choosing the first route. The MoU with Blackham (12/3/18) appears to offer the opportunity to much reduce SLP's initial Capex requirement to then get to first production of SoP. However there is some risk remaining in doing that there as, unlike Lake Wells, Lake Way has not been explored to great extent. A Jorc there is desirable ,but more importantly, an assessment of the permeability of the surface needs to also be done to determine if unlined evaporation ponds are feasible at Way. From the RNS this being the case looks promising: "Historical exploration and initial sampling indicate the presence of clays in the upper levels of the lake which should be amenable to low cost, on-lake evaporation pond construction." AFW produced a Scoping Study for Lake Wells (30/8/16), with a 200kt/y operation having Capex of A$191m. From that and the potential for cost outlay reductions from the already in place infrastructure at and around the Blackham Williamson mine it seems reasonable to think Capex for the mooted 40-50kt/y plant there could come out around A$25-30m. I expect that facility could also be brought to production more rapidly providing a relatively fast route to early cashflow. The Williamson historical open pit contains some 30kt of recoverable SoP in brine it seems. Sale value for that at around $18m. Useful cash before they move on to the lake brine its self and an expected move to build at Wells and then perhaps later at the other lakes. With tenements over nine lakes it looks quite possible they could eventually grow the business to over 1mt/y of production. Few years down the road that though. ATB. GK.

Couple of buys have come in. No sells. Re this at a possible $1bn valuation at a future date, I think in the medium term (5 - 10y) and if they can successfully develop say 3 or 4 of the tenancy lakes towards their theoretical production capacities there is capability for a $5bn+ valuation for the sum of the operations. The AFW study for Wells modeled a second stage 400k/y of SOP production, if earning achieved come out at ~$400/t and typical PER for fert cos is around 10x....... One lake, two now being developed, two more being explored...........There are nine. GK.

With the tiny �1.44m Mcap here it would not take much to send this multiples higher. Surface sampling and later first drill results eagerly anticipated. Afaict PML had $1.3m cash as of Sept '17. Highly, highly geared. GLA. GK.

Morning WBF Some two years back I took a stake here on the continuing supply shortage and hence very high comparative pricing of SOP. - You will find a plot of that against MOP in the SLP pres. I moved a lot more into here after profit taking at Sxx in Autumn '16 so as to diversify but also still have a large position in the non chloride potassium fert space as I think there is huge opportunity there for anyone who can offer these ferts in decent volume the decades ahead. Though SLP has largely remained in the wilderness as regards it getting any attention from the market, it is now just starting to look like that is about to change. Evaluate the competencies of those working on this and the potential and viability of the project ahead then balance that against the expected outlay to get there, so as to decide if this is a worthwhile speculative investment rather than rummaging through the historical losses that all explorers will always have. To then get a decent understanding of what may lay ahead here, Is how I think about this co......FWIW. GL. GK.

Hi It tells me this sub �10m microcap could just be commencing on a similar run to what many other comod miners have been on over the last year or so. Eg THR, SML, WRES, GFM etc from the turnaround in commods. Good luck GK.
