New capacity is moving more and more towards offshore - larger is more efficient, wind offshore is better, visual blight lower, bird strike lower. All this important in the West. Offshore maintenance is very costly, the likes of GE, Siemens will pay a lot more than present Nd pricing to keep providing their DD magnet turbines if they have to I expect.
Pensana will generate by far the largest proportion of its value added from the UK separation plant not at the mine. I hope they install high capacity (10kt/y+?) at Saltend for wind and EV demand ahead and also take third party TREO as well as from Angola.
