There have been regular downside forecasts for lithium of late from well known names and when they turn out so so wrong they just come back again with a similar crash prediction but moved further out. Just shows an inability to grasp what this now very embedded transport decarbonisation revolution really means. It's primarily consumer driven and OEMs, all OEMs are irrevocably committed.

In the end mined supply source materials for lithium will come back into balance with the relentlessly growing demand but I have much more faith in the predictions of those more closely associated with how long these mining projects will take to come on rather than what the big generalists come up with. Eg the likes of Macquarie, I see them as far more credible.

If when producing Ewoyaa achieves just half of the predicted pricing for SC6 that they forecast here over future years the present PFS earning will look as though they were calculated for a one tenth size demo plant.

Reckon the rerate here is set in train for sometime yet. Fight it at your peril.

Latest Peidmont presy sees Ewoyaa producing 64kt of SC6 during the ramp up over H2 '24. If that goes at Macquarie's revised price for '24 that would make a tidy 400m .

All goes well once this starts to earn it really ERNS.

Atlantic now look set on upping Ewoyaa well above 2mt/y. Fantastic for future earnings, all the more so when you bring in Macquarie upping their lithium outlook substantially. But bigger mine? We know where this goes.

Omelettes - eggs! With a strong 50%+ rise in short order some flippers have already bailed and certain prepping for the next dip. Social media already has some waiving the ever popular spectre of the 'P' word.

And in reality difficult to argue against as bigger will be better but if it is to be so the cost will disproportionately fall to Atlantic.

EG PFS cpx 125m, ALL pay 27.5m. Up that say 40% to 175m, ALL pay 52.5m. Near doubling. All very small beer when you look at those Ewoyaa 10 figure future revenues tho.

But expect volatility.

Reckon negotiations are long over and terms agreed, more a case of TVL having to pay up to extend the exclusivity option as they cannot enter the full lease. 6m exclusive from Feb 25th cost 50k.

Full leasehold plus services contract will be guess 25y region, not fundable untill TVL have the project finance.

Yep, everyone is claiming they will be 'first'!........... And be able to 'magic up' very large sums of money. Some may, some may not.

$7bn is my est for what the Ewoyaa mine NPV will in reality rise to by the time they come to the FID. Though I don't expect such a figure to be published.

This is assuming average realised SC6 pricing holds at around the present 5.4k and they get that, the MRE goes above 40mt, the RoM goes above 2.5mt/y and SC6 sales above 320kt/y.

Though they have already moved on.
