RE: Market hasn't caught up LOL11 Oct 2023 14:19
lucky, the net debt will be wiped out in two weeks when they announce their q3 results. they're throwing off $15m cash (minimum) every quarter now. remind me how much hum is generating? and when you say 'another good miner' i have to assume you're not talking about hum. this company has never been a 'good miner'. look at what the sp has done over the years. the market isn't missing anything, it's hum that keeps missing all dbs bull**** production and aisc numbers. and you literally have missed the biggest point i was making that hum isn't generating any fcf. it's also not generating 200k oz. no point having 200k oz if you can't make a profit eh. and it has never gone anywhere near fantasy aisc costs put in the dfs for yan, and there is no track record of delivery to suggest that kour will be anywhere near the bull**** numbers being quoted by db. pure fantasy until it happens.
bismark, i'm not sure you have read about shg. firstly they are delivering 100k oz run rate at near $1000 aisc (q2), not talking about it but doing it. they're looking to deliver 110k oz next year, which is only 10% higher than proven delivery rate, so not a pipe dream. and for £10m they have plans to expand production at one mine by another 25k oz. out of cash! so you're looking at 110 to 135k oz in 2024 to 2025. and this is all low risk. the expansion will also lower their already low aisc. so hardly small profit versus the magical 200k oz mark that hum is yet to deliver when they've been mining at a loss at yan for years now. also shgs divi could be raised to 5% from petty cash. remember they're throwing off $15m cash every quarter now. as for stocko using forecast pes, you really can't be serious...? hum will be lucky if it makes $50m fcf next year given track record. and it will need 3 years to pay down it's debt utilizing all of it. shg will be making more than this all those years. and if the price of au drops to $1500 then hum is screwed, because they are ****house miners who can't turn a profit with good resources.
angelis, the shg sp got smashed by odey having to sell down its entire position. they were the biggest shareholder at the time. go and have a read and you'll see what happened and how may shares got dumped with the tail still being sold. they also have to replace their ceo who is staying on until his replacement is found. he is the antithesis of db by the way. that's why shg's sp is so low, not because they fail to deliver. let's see where they are in 2 weeks post q3 results.
jammin, you clearly get it.
