Mad concept for some, I know. However I might attribute Group hitting 90% for October down to comparing 5 weekends (with probably the strongest line up of year in that time so far) with 4 weekends.
Others may wish to keep glossing over that, doesn't change share price for us all so that's their delusion to have.

I think much of what is said he does let us know, but some here want more FAR more to be read into them.

Discussions will always be going on many many fronts with a global business.

US listing it's only one of a number of "at some point POSSIBLE" methods of creating further liquidity. That's it.

Netflix - they are a content creator and some of their bigger pieces of work can/could well warrant having their own cinematic releases (like the studios we already work with some goes to cinema first, most goes straight to home).

There "could, maybe, possibly", at some future date be more or different path on some of these.
However as a business you can't really sensibly put what might be delicate negotiations of business plans for future out there far all.

Keep the trust in Mooky and board and when and if it's right to do so I am sure they will announce.

Not sure SP sitting where it has for 4 months can be called a big rise. As you are not a day trader and most seem to hate those that are or shorters then can't see reason for victory lap.
If being able to read the company website and past years reporting trends gives warrant to you being hailed a hero, then well done.

Both AMC and Cineworld were smart with their updates and many reacted exactly as they probably hoped when doing so.
Progress is happening and that is very pleasing.
There is still work to be done and that is happening behind the scenes no doubt.

It is worth noting that the last full quarter reported by both is still lose making.
October v October 2019 "looks" very strong and is the focus many are creaming their pants on.
The not so insignificant issue with this is that it is a highly skewed view from the simple fact this October benefitted from a fifth weekend (where as 2019 had 4) this makes the % and $ performance look considerably better than actual.

We will see a reversal of this benefit this current month with 2019 having 5 Fri/Sat. and this year we have the 4.

I fully expect November to fall some way short of the % against 2019 we saw for October and probably won't even see us pass/= October's $ value.
Company base case was for 90% by end year (today's RNS gives exactly that number for October).
When we end this final Q I won't be surprised if we are near but a little short of that.
Progress there and hopeful future, not quite there yet (or exceeding) as some may be trumpeting.

LPD, I thought it was very clear in my opening sentence o state it is from our main market which everyone here knows where that is.

I later note REGAL also which should further clarify this.
As you, Adam Aron and my post note I have 71.5% for industry v AMC noted 72%
I also go on to note higher concessions spend (as an example) and state actual revenues el equate to a higher than 72% like for like, but may yet be short of our targeted 90%.

I thought it was a reasonable and fairly positive post (without pretending we are making **** tonnes of money more than ever already).

6 of 13 weeks gone and industry in our main market seems to be holding a bit over 70% 2019 box office levels (71.5% to date).
This ties in pretty tight with what AMC reported so should be good indication for Regal also.
Improved concessions since pandemic means business doing bit better than a 71.5% v 2019.
Though probably not yet at the 90% equivalent target by year end.

Actual box office $ had fallen 4 weeks in a row until Eternals last week but roughly in sync with other years and the influence of big movie releases (or lack off) in any one week.

Expect us to be comparitively light one or two weeks second half this month as 2019 had massive week for (think it was Frozen II).

Spiderman should hopefully do big numbers, but pretty much every Christmas has a massive release.
Sure you can all check back for yourselves should you wish.

The recovery gradually continues, forget the nonsense from both extremes ramp or de ramp.

Hopefully stainlessness for around these parts.

Polygon made themselves nice money and couple others got some cheap shares to reduce also.
SP (non)movement of late may be boring, but we do appear to be in an interesting phase.

I predict this SP will be lower in the future, I also predict it will be higher.
Rather confident of both happening.

So what.
Most here have invested for a future higher price, be that relatively short term or be that long term.

Some have/do trade it to varying degrees of success no doubt.
Then some short it, that's their choice.

All could have/can make money. Should we there is no one way fits all "right" way to invest.

4 months in the 60's (almost all the time) I would say that's pretty settled. Can't say it's at a level I enjoy mind.

iParsnip maybe because it's a rather complex matter and there is a LOT for the judge to read through and very little of any true president for her to work from.
Like most unknowns it doesn't have a defined timescale.

I would be surprised to see any financial update before court ruling and I wouldnt be entirely surprised to see no financials update before March.
