Yeh I sort of agree latpulldown that the lower levels are maybe too easy achieved if covid and vaccines allow reasonable timescales of opening.
Simple return to business may well get them around there.

I am a little unsure how you have taken LTIP info as an indicator friendly takeover any more likely?

With 25% award available at £1:30 , 50% @ £1:50 I feel they don't see SP hitting those levels say within this year.

Oh and if Mooky and co were to lead business to £3:80 share price I would happily buy them all a coffee to go with their juicy share awards.

What would happen then in the case of a rights issue in the event cinemas do not open until after May?
By no way am I saying a rights issue is happening, nor am I saying Cinema won't open until after May.
More wondering if with the LTIP the board would be less inclined to that option if we do reach a point more finances need raised to see us through.
Or does the proposed plan have section in it that states relevant target prices would adjust accordingly!?

Agree and an absolute abuse of power by Murdoch.

Ah sorry Westwood, yeh there has been clear agenda by media in last 10 months (almost as of people like Rupert Murdoch had self interest in seeing SP tank/shorting or day trading it) Wouldn't be surprised if him and his likes have greedy little fingers in the MS and GS pies plus short funds.

Westwood how much work do you do for each company you hold shares in?
That 20% is a family trust and let's not forget they started the monster Cineworld has become so I view that very much separate.
Rescuing a company we could all have saw our investment wiped out in deserves additional reward given the circumstances.
Recovery to pre covid levels for many companies either just simply won't happen or will take years of hard work.
I look forward to them receiving 100% of incentive plan I hope. :-)

Zstarz I recon less than 20% for sure in PI hands.
Along with the major holders over 3% noted there will be institutional investors holding between say 0.5 and 2.99%
Some of the major holders noted will no doubt support the proposal (possibly even most of them)
I feel pretty sure it will go through with much less fuss than sky and FT are trying to stir.
Mind they said a CVA was what was happening at last financial raise . They have painted the picture far worse than reality more than once.
I say those two media sources at least have form.

My reading was it got mixed reception, but feel sure it's far from all major holders unhappy.
If everyone minds right it has been sky news and the ft that have past form trying to make very negative news and on .ore than one occasion completely or partly unfounded.
The performance element seems not that unusual to me (ok would also often have revenue/profit element, but let's be honest that often ties with SP performance anyway).
The change off ownership vesting I saw in the news article.
Not been able to see more detail on that though.
I (maybe wrongly) tend to feel change of ownership is only likely to come at similar or higher SP numbers so not concerned (until I see different info)

Detailed some cost cutting we already knew about and notes they are continuing that work.
Tax credit previously noted as $200m is mentioned again and expected early this year (does at one point say "more than" $200m).

Mission Impossible I'm November I believe, so talk is more likely October or December if pushed back that far.
Think all too often some forget there is a whole movie industry and not only Bond requiring a release.
Other March - May/June movies will be closely monitoring progress.
