A slow trickly downwards really wouldn't surprise me until we get the trading update which will hopefully be good and give us a good increase.
SP without an RNS this week 0.5p
SP with an RNS this week .85p
All the investors expecting £1+ only expect it because of what they have read on boards like this. There is literally nothing in the public domain to indicate what the actual sale price will be. Only those involved in the sale process will have any indication at the moment but the rampers would prefer to believe the higher forecasts rather than the more realistic lower ones.
I'll be honest, I'm hopeful for about 150p but anything 50p will give me a tidy profit so I'd consider it a good investment that was worth my time and money.
It's funnier how some post every single day despite having absolutely nothing to contribute at all.
I'm not sure why anyone that holds any SYME shares would argue against the possibility of this hitting 50p at some point. SYME is a very new company that's just getting started. Once the business model has been fully proven and they can start to evidence that all targets are being met then the only way is up. it might take 5 years to get to 50p, it could take 10 years but even if you only have a small holding at the moment, it has to be worth the wait for such a huge rise. If you need the money and you take your profits along the way then good for you. Everyone has a different reason for investing and everyone will have a different exit point but a profit is a profit. Surely we're all just looking for the biggest profit we can get.
The fact that both RNS released this month have promised a trading update by the end of the month seems positive to me. If they knew the trading update was going to be bad news then I doubt they'd be quite so keen to announce it. They will know already roughly what it is going to say, they just need to finalise a few details. We'll know in the next couple of weeks.
I've just doubled my holding through HL and had no problems getting a quote.
Hoping for a very positive trading statement in the next couple of weeks so finally see this on the move.
The final results for 2020 will still be showing a loss although we'll get another confirmation that the final couple of months showed a profit. We won't see an actual profit until the H1 2021 results then the full 2021 results which won't be released until well in to 2022.
H1 2021 results showing a profit could potentially be enough to start a decent upward trend in the share price as long as the profit is substantial.
I'm not sure why Mac & Tilly were specifically excluded from your statement.
If people only stuk to relevant facts we'd only see one post every few weeks. Most of the posts on here may be utter rubbish but it keeps it entertaining for the ones that read this board 24/7.
We saw a significant rise a couple of weeks ago that lead to a lot of excitement and expectation and there was no RNS then either. The SP just slowly trailed off again over the following 2 weeks. Now here we are again and as with a couple of weeks ago, I'll wake up tomorrow morning very hopeful the big RNS will drop.
We'll just have to wait and see.
2p is a definite possibility by close tomorrow. Certainly not 3p without more news.
If Triller is giving 7Digital a revenue in the 10s of thousands per months then this deal must be bigger and more lucrative given the relative size of the 2 companies. Even at £100k per month it'll have a significant impact on the overall profit figures for 2021. I think once we have confirmation of the actual profit made in 2021 this will start to fly.
If this does ever drop back again to around 1.5p then it would be a great time to buy in or top up.
Absolutely nothing has changed since the day suspension started to it makes sense that there has been little movement in price. The trading update by the end of the month will hopefully be good news and have more of an impact.
They thought it would be October but then definitely in November but that didn't come so it had to be by year end and when that didn't happen it would be early January or at least by the end of the month but it didn't come so it had to be February which is a short month so on it rolled to March and close to the end of the financial year but having it in April suits some people for a new ISA allowance and on it goes from there.
Basically, most people expect it soon but soon never comes (or at least it hasn't come yet)
Unless you're thinking of buying or selling it doesn't really matter. Whatever it closed at today, it's a lot lower then it'll be when the FSP concludes.
I'm not sure why you're surprised. 7Digital have announced a new contract with a small company that has no money. It's not going to be a high value contract so it was never going to affect the share price too much. I'm more surprised that there was an early 10% ride before it dropped back again.
There will be no large rise until the release of a set of accounts that shows proof of a substantial profit being made.
Positivity is great when there is something to be positive about but there has been nothing truely positive since the company was put up for sale. It is simply a waiting game. Anyone who posts 800 times in a month is doing so to make themselves feel better and to relieve boredom, it's not going to make the sale come any quicker or increase the SP. People to post once a month will just as much benefit when the FSP concludes.
London, I totally agree with your belief that SYME will come good. That's exactly why I'm invested but your understanding of Roulette clearly needs some work.
The house doesn't always win. Over a sustained period of time they win but on each individual bet placed they very often lose. If 100 people place 100 bets on roulette then some will win and some will lose. Investing is the same. 100 people invest in 100 companies then some will win and some will lose. You can even make it specific to SYME. Some people may hold long terms and win big, others may hold short term and sell at a loss even though the general long term trend is upwards.
Every share has winners and losers, every roulette game has winners and losers. The similarities are there. Manage the odds and play it correctly and you can win, manage it wrong and you can lose.
Fingers crossed that all long term holders here will win big.
This particular escapade gives us no choice but to hold.
So you've gone from "I don't gamble" to "it's a calculated gamble".
There are ways to massively increase your chances of winning at roulette just as there ways on the stock market.
