When we were told in an IC a while ago that we were looking at becoming a mid sized producer it may well have been relevant to the close period, so may have been ongoing for a while. I have a hunch (but enough about my back :-))
Or clarity to anyone who cares
"Many Swedes also have a private pension negotiated through their labour union. ... "
https://www.rosalux.eu/en/article/2077.how-sweden-gave-up-the-world-s-most-generous-pension-scheme-to-become-a-nation-of.html A "hotch potch" of a system and soon to mean absolutely nothing to Arc.
A friend sent me a post with laughing emojis all over it, with the tag "You will love this, a must read!"
Donkey has got it all wrong again while lambasting Lantier and saying "Facts don't seem to be your thing" 🤣🤣
Well perhaps facts ,comprehension ,reading and basic spelling aren't Donkey's ?
He said to L, "But thanks for taking the time to demonstrate for the whole world, in your own words, your "own cluelessness."--🤣🤣🤣
Donkey you have made a massive fool of yourself again and owe Lantier a huge apology ! (which we all know will never transpire)
What an absolute plum !
The BoD "surrender of options" was a requirement of the negotiations. Those options/cash owing has been carried over and has no debt liability to Arc. If I they were my options I would want them re-instated at a later date ! 😜
Insanely cheap for FQM but there is probably another historical reason for that. The Arc deal is and will be far more transparent and after the first 2/3 years FQM with their 51% can dictate any terms they want for further investment.
It's an irrelevant conversation as one mornings trading on news will rapidly clear the lot and we have news on several fronts scheduled. The fact that the Swedish bed wetters went public means that the scenario can be addressed and dealt with. Boycott IKEA :-))
What a load of first class bull Tom, if the BoD are in a close period they are fine to let holders know. No-one is party to the details of/if any deals they are looking at but obviously they are potentially material/significant hence the need for a close period.. And since we aligned our financial calendar with Anglo a few years ago it could simply be financials based. So give the "insider" rubbish a rest. And you'd really have to be a bit of a muppet not to see what is going on at the moment ....!
Having followed the story closely for a few weeks I am appalled at them for being pushed out of something by left wing militants (that the union is known for)
1. The first point of "tax residency" is a valid point but now precludes the fund from owning the shares of hundreds of thousands of companies worldwide, including major companies that they are already invested in. Presumably they will be exiting many more companies and investing in "flower power".
2.The second point "operations" was because the DRC was sighted (by the lefties) for having allowed child labour of which Arc has never mined in the DRC let alone used child labour.
So - this statement "We take this very seriously and also review our guidelines and our total holdings to ensure that there are no doubts about our investments, says Jonas Larsson". Should read "we made an investment in good faith even though it may have contravened our own guidelines at the time, and just before the share is about to embark on the same action and the reason we invested, we have allowed ourselves to be threatened and bullied by a left wing bunch of overpaid sanctimonious teachers" Mr Larsson seems more concerned about his job than the facts, or the profitability of the fund.
"Socialism is great until you run out of other people's money to pay for it !"
One decent bit of news will clear them out in a morning so whether they get the batch transferred or not it doesn't really matter and in the meantime it's good for buyers. With a few bits of news due its no biggie, just a fly in the ointment after three years of much bigger obstacles
@ArcMinerals
#ARCM "Going back to some of the early analyses by Anglo & Equinox of the whole Domes region, they have ranked all their top 30 targets in this wider area, & that includes Sentinel, which is a multibillion dollar operation that was ranked 22, & of ours, we have 7 of the top 10"https://twitter.com/i/status/1756961281532109170
In the very near future the world will need to accredit REEs and the toxic radioactive sludge lakes in China will weigh heavily against their supply, and the West will need every manufacturer/processor it can get. No-one shouts about it ATM as there are very few alternatives.
