@Ad Sep cknt I believe the 100k hectares was mentioned in rns around time of MIA environmental approvals they had entered into a binding agreement of something, also in corp presentation in one of the pretty pictures.

Based on the rns it would seem a fair assumption ukki. @Tomcat, I do agree that is does seem as though they are executing this with some clear intent, and that does suggest the bigger picture is in place and the redom is key. So I do take positivity from that. My earlier comment was just that I anticipated / assumed a lower equity portion as part of the financing. Lets hope our assumption is true and all will become clear and drive the price up over the next 3-6months.

Only just read it albeit not carefully. Yeah shame seems to be suggesting mainly equity. While its being raised for very positive reasons I had hoped for mainly debt. I agree re pre emptive rights I interpreted that they seem to say we wont be offered.

Okay cool. I just read again and it said that they were unable to confirm a date but would let shareholders know during early Feb or the 9th at the latest. I must be getting my wires crossed. Easily done. I be tired.

I would agree Addicknt. However we need to see some recognition of that value in share price before any offers as I would imagine we have little chance of that size offer at current mcap?

@bluegrass - don't think that is the case re traders here, or anyone being happy with a share price decline. To my knowledge most on here are long termers, happy to wait for next news while the noise happens. For my part while the share prices is falling back, the story is unchanged. Can only watch for now and leave with BCN to do what is necessary. Next few months are key so would seem crazy for any long termer to sell now. Having a large II base is great but also imagine it can / will get a bit political. All wanting to make as much as they can, wanting best terms etc. Managing that will be key to short term price. On the flip side (bigger pricture) IIs (and PIs) will want the securing of financing with hopefully minimal equity to debt (on good terms), and can help secure it. Need this news to rise price prior to takeover. I also agree re BCN not being overvalued compared to peers on other exchanges. Let s hope that changes. Gl.

I am open to a takeover more than I was. Obviously its a possible outcome. However I would like to see a further increase in share price first, to set the mark higher. A takeover certainly would be a cleaner, no regrets, exit. Ratify this offtake, get funding, then takeover would be good. Just don't want to see the value sort too cheap.

Wonder why taking longer, and should here about special AGM in next week or so. Nice to hear RNS say still committed.
