I think this increases my view they intend to go to production. Due to the fact that it was not just finance, and was a further offtake, even if best endeavours to supply. Cant believe the strength of the institutional backing continues to grow. Any sale would need to be a serious offer at the least so whatever the eventual outcome, its all good.

Okenia this would be way more than £1.20 in years if it aint sold, well in my opinion. However if you do believe that price then I would agree money is better elsewhere. Kluck - I dont suppose it would harm having an offtaker of 70-100% but it depends on the buyer I guess. Not sure if any conditions of a sale in contract etc if a buyer already has customers for example. Other factor is that it was at current market price so could look at that as a positive or a, negative. Its positive in that we expect the lithium price to rise, but negative in that for funding,or other discussions, its provides less 'certainty' around the financials.

Hi Addicknt - are you referring to the amendments to the employment arrangements? I think its a fair point you raise but I am not sure if these were added as it is a possible outcome that needed to be considered given their progressive position. As obviously there will be interest to buy. I am eyes wide open though to the possibility of a sale situation. I am just of the view that its not their preferred end goal. Certainly not a given that they wouldn't sell. At the least I think they wont be desperate to sell so should hopefully strengthen any negotiation. I guess what I am saying is that it may merely have been added to the arrangements as a coverall, with the bfs being due, rather than as an indicator it plans to sell.

Xulu, good post. I dont know what price we can expect to achieve from a sale and I while I would like the return, I am keeping it all crossed that we don't sell. I would love to see this one go all the way. Such an opportunity along with their European asset and the wider concessions at Sonora. I genuinely don't think they are actively looking to sell, but if the right offer came it would of course need to be considered.

Lol. My takeaway was I still get the feeling they aim for production, rather than sale. Its just everything you see and read they always talk about production as the objective. He confirms what is said about part equity / debt which is what we knew but horses mouth and all that. They are speaking to banks re debt. Obviously discussions with the strong institutional investor base around equity financing etc. Have cash upto funding. Sounds like funding news will be end Jan or in feb. Just a waiting game really. Hopefully some media heading into 2018, then land the financing rns mid Q1. I remain positive. All other detail is nice but this is where my head is, for a simpleton view...

Xulu - you are correct. I am interested on the question of what does this potebtialy mean for shareprice. As an investor thats a fairly important topic for me. Therefore very relevant to raise that question on a stock bb. Although quiet on this board for some time its been very amicable, until you popped up. You dont seem to be engaging in any debate if its not of interest to you, which is fine,but dont tell others what to say or be interested in. There are also better ways to communicate with people. Your posts are very detailed which is great but its not a notepad for xulu. Its a share board for investors, so engage nicely or just do your own analysis on the back of your cocktail napkin. Jeez

I am wondering if selling is because expectations were higher on step change news and perhaps with the interims due people suspect they wont be as good as original expectations, so selling ahead of news. Will see what happens but I do not intend to sell anything short term. Happy to hold.

Very detailed notes. Personally I was always of the view that they wanted production, as that was their objective to be a producer in their corp presentations. If they do sell then so be it, can not control that. Either way I would like the share price to rise..had expected a bit more on this release however early days. What would your guess be in price terms if sold. Hard to guess I know but hey interested to hear your thoughts on that.
