A low free float is better for traders, as it creates more pressure for big movements short term. UKOG is ramped hard everywhere that's why its a traders share. I made 200% on UKOG trading that swing. I wouldn't want to hold it like I do BCN specifically because BCN. Surely you wouldn't want BCN to trade like UKOG :). Anyway we are aligned on the fact we both want the same outcome, I would take steady over volatile any day for a long term hold.

Thats an interesting point nomadic..seems logical. MrCautious, a low free float would typical increase volatility of a stock. So make it more open to spikes etc. As less supply to meet the demand.

Yeah it is possible more debt so fingers crossed. I am hoping it is a case that full details, especially a further offtake, may be the catalyst to a more significant price rise also. Especially given it reached 1.57 intraday back in Jan off lesser news! With a crystal ball I would have sold and rebought. I would be happy if (and my personal expectation is) that it gets back to about that price when fully announced. You have a target?

Total raise is $450m, $420 construction and remainder working capital. However I noticed in the rns yesterday they mention $40m working capital. So wondering if it may be $10m higher when fully announced. I am working on the basis that the rest will be equity. I have always thought the debt / equity split will be 200/250 and that approx 250 million new shares. Agree re mexico with the success of AMCO it does cause an uncertain backdrop. From what I have read though I think it will be okay but not ideal. I too was expecting more if a response in the shareprice. Be interesting to see what the additional offtake is like.

Seems like many moderately sized sell trades are holding back this price. I didnt expect fireworks, I did expect a bit more. Hopefully continued gradual rise once sells dry up. That said I am basing this on lse trades which may not be entirely reliable lol

Yeah defo. I was hoping for a more significant rise on this news to help reduce equity raising price. Still early though. I am hoping 250 million new shares I said is on the pessimistic side but will need a better increase in price from this news. What are your views on most likely new shares to be issued? Are you way off my thinking.

Personally I have always anticipated about 250 million new shares being required to be issued. I still think that's about right. Give or take but roughly.

Great news! With more to come on additional offtakers etc. Why do you think the dilution will be minimal now iceberg? Genuine question. As I suspect the remainder of the $450 approx total will be equity will it not? So when I saw debt of $150 million that was lower than my initial expectation of 200 debt/250 equity. I will re read the rns later. Anyway...wooooop!!!

Due to the missing post glitch on here I have inly just seen your other comment from 7am. Assuming you read my post correctly you will note that I was simply offering an explanation as to why it was probably inserted into this rns. Namely because a paper published insider news (whether orchestrated or not) and so it was (in my view) due to that. I then just posted a link to reference an example of where else its used, as I thought based on the thread you had asked for it. Anyway, if you are frustrated because you have misinterpreted my post so be it. Yeah agreed all are bored now.

Yeah defo crypto space is at a low. I have some crypto myself but about even atm (was much better). I generally like to invest in areas of disruption, always ups and downs. Patience is important if you believe in it and cutting losses if needed/lose your confidence. Sure you know all this. Anyway, all the best to us if you decide to stay in here.

Wowser, you are a glass if a quarter full kind of guy right. Lol. Just have to wait as long as it takes, or until you lose faith (which sounds like you may have, just a guess). To be fair its a cash shell on AIM looking at the blockchain space. Its high risk/high reward. Will either bag or bomb but in between its not like any op osts etc are a problem. Best just to sit back and wait and hope for one day you log in and the price is doing crazy things.

I have most certainly seen that exact wording for other companies rns, just google the whole para and you will find examples I am sure. As BCN are in funding negotiations, there would have been a 'legitimate interest of issuers (bcn) to delay the disclosure of inside information' under the regulation. Therefore due to the article at the weekend they announced they added the reference to the regulations. It may be staged to enable something, but that statement in the rns isnt new.
