Ghia, it's Polygon's presence in SNG that is most intriguing to me. I suspect Polar and Polygon have 2 different strategies here. And I'm not (yet) convinced the drop is RI driven. I agree, I do think our fortunes will be reversed.

It's not just deaths the government need to be worried about with the Indian variant, it's the sweeping though a younger healthy working population fast that could economically cripple them and the country in years to come. This from the Guardian :
"Deaths are not all that matters. The decision to vaccinate older people first was based on saving lives and preventing the collapse of the NHS. The trade-off is more infections in younger, healthy people, and while they are much less likely to die from the disease they are at real risk of long Covid, in which patients continue to suffer from fatigue, brain fog and other debilitating symptoms long after they have overcome the virus itself."
It is a daunting task ahead, I hope the government make the right decsions now.

I get the genuine concern today from posters about not being part of the solution to the Pandemic, but I really thnk this is very misguided. We tend to view Winter as the viral dawn, yet today in Thailand and Vietnam where the temps are in the 30's, a new wave is engulfing both countries. Are the surges we are seeing now around the world the last? Of course not. Are all countries going to be vaccinated by 2022? I seriously doubt that, with such conviction I would wager my entire SNG investment on it were it not tied up here. Has the last British wave swept through this country because of rising vaccination rates? I very much doubt that too. As long as borders remain open (BJ will never shut them, never), and poorer countries become the incubators of rampant and ever-changing mutations, the surges will not end. Aside from the continuing dire global picture, we cannot say with any certainty that we will not see overburdened UK hospitals again in 2021, 2022 or even beyond. Nothing is certain. I may be alone but I expect a hike in numbers again her in the UK with the Indian varient over the Summer, and who knows whatever new varient that comes after that, because it will. Winter is light years away and the virus waits for no man. That's why I remain comitted to the longer game here. Each to their own POV, just my 2 cents.

Mike109, I was mulling that over this morning too and I suspect it stems from either a choice by the pharmaco or an instruction by the Regulator to not speak publically about ongoing trials to avoid bias. Ethically that makes sense. I don't know for sure but that's my view. I've searcched for other pharmaco's that are doing similar trials and they are seeming to be batting by the same unwritten rules as we are which is no progress updates other than commencement and results.

Sometmes Doc, there is not a fibre in my physical being that comes close to feeling the ire and disdain you feel for SNG at times. Reading through the various threads tonight, wow. Even the crappiest pups I was sold as a novice investor, don't come close. Through experience I learned. I could be woefully misinformed about the science I am following, or the data I am analysing , or my limited but balanced understanding of the process, and my understanding that a Pandemic will throw unique curveballs that shatter bestlaid plans, but I have never, ever, come across another investor with such a litany of extensive gripes about an investment, as you have. Shorters, yes. swing traders, yes, game-playing ii's and PI's, yes. But to stay invested in something you appear to have so little confidence in? That just does not happen. I hope, it is a case if in rose vino inveritas, which, tbf, can be forgiven. Otherwise I would urge you to ask yourself if this is really the investmet you want to be in in 6 months, bcause everyone needs to get real here, H2 2021 means anything from June to December. No comaplining later. It's time to decide if that's tolerable or not. There is no point in spending those 6 months knocking the crap out of the timelines when your expectations are now primed. Either you believe the drug has a good chance of going commercial, or not, be that in 3 months, or 7 months. It's that simple.

Just watched it. Agree Doc no mention of Activ-2, I wonder if we will get an RNS on that soon? Anyway, A2 aside, my overall impression was that all the right noises are being made. Strong messaging, 3 part strategy being executed, stockpiling, etc. Personally I am 110% happy with our CEO and what he's achieving. H2 seemed a long way off a few weeks ago, but bigger picture is that one day this drug could save millions of lives, and for me personally that's a wait I can patiently tolerate. I feel more at ease with competitor drugs also now because at this point a few will make it through all trials and the commercial demand will IMO be huge for those that do. Cracking find whoever posted.

Ghia, thanks, it was the thread title that raised my eyebrow more than anything. I know our drug is not in the trial so I found that misleading. I would imagine it was a peer to peer comment as you say, but as the email is now gone I can only go on my 1st impression and recollection which was overall positive, but I remain cautious on the intent and the timing vis-a-vis trading pattern since last RNS. I'm not knocking the OP. Had the information been negative, which it could so easily have been, I would have been equally cautious. Information 'personally shared' cannot be relied upon, whether good or bad. If I'm wrong, which I hope I am, then I will be very happy.
