I didn't/don't trust the General or the Moz Gov in any negotiation, not saying they are crooks just that this is the nature of business in certain parts of the world. What gives me hope of a settlement that allows production at the mine, and I may not be able to verbalise this; is that if I held the licence in my hot and sweaty, was confident of my ability to defend ownership and had the backing of a wealthy partner I wouldn't let 10 years of the 25 year licence pass by without getting my boots on the ground. Possibly a simplistic view of the situation but something is or has stopped the license holder from setting up shop and this therefore make me think a settlement is possible however uneasy it might be.

I am not a geologist so so after watching video and hearing about a nice amount of halite in the core samples I simple googled it. Schlumberger's Oilfield Glossry tells me " ... Halite can be critical in forming hydrocarbon traps and seals because it tends to flow rather than fracture during deformation, thus preventing hydrocarbons from leaking out of a trap even during and after some ... ". So in my layman's mind a supportive post to the one that preceded it. Now, if your Geology PhD would care to educate us all, I for one would be interested to listen. Good find Itza.. TZM is a new company incorporated in Mozambique on 24th August so I guess a vehicle started to take holding of the mining licence from the previously listed Pathfinder Minerals . It would be easy to jump to conclusions but unless someone can categorically prove so its not certain that TZM are the company that bought the Generals shares, maybe, maybe not. From memory, mention of the Chinese company that took half the shares predates the formation of TZM, happy to be corrected on this. However we do know the mining licence website shows TZM holding the licences. Address in Mozambique for TZM is given as 4981 Avenida Marginal, Zen Building, tenth floor, Triunfo, Maputo.

I am always amused by the Pavlovian response of some to being told the $gazillion size of a market before we have even taken one step in it. However I wonder how difficult it would have been to say something more tangible about the Streams Saas launch, marketing and on boarding customers. The trading update seems more of an unwanted obligation fulfilled that an opportunity to better engage with current and prospective shareholders. We have a cloak and dagger, NDA caveated presentation to come but what could possibly be presented in this that could not form an inspiring RNS.
