RE: Director purchase10 Jan 2024 16:44
Good for you Donkey.
If the Brokers are close to being right, we may see £ 7 per share. (for me a seven fold increase, more or less for others).
All the hard work has been done by AB and the team.
Me. I've done nick all other than invest.
Tell you what to do - go and set up your own oil company and build it from something out of next to nothing, with all the time, effort, energy that involves and run it for a basic salary with no bonus, and no incentive to succeed.
Perhaps even insist that you and your fellow Directors sit on spikes instead of chairs in the board room for the temerity of trying to build a successful business and it's associated rewards.
It's a multi million dollar (if not billion dollar business), so expect remuneration to be high.
IF - they deliver.
So far, they have achieved a great deal for JOG, and I think it will get better.
You don't, hence you bailing to invest in a charity or something where Directors possibly might eventually get paid the minimum wage - whilst making you a fortune. (check other business's in the city - it's the going rate, like it or lump it)
I repeat, I believe investors will make good money here and If AB and the like deliver, then good luck to them for their Salaries and Bonuses.
If they don't, well more fool me, and a visit to the AGM to vent my spleen.
However, at the moment, they are doing (to my eyes) everything they set out to do (and a bit more).
Just takes time, so patience is required this year.
Let us know how you get on.
