Pretty much as I suggested ISA - its virtually rigged in Amigos favour - by the way the existing customers 300,000 aren't all complaining for what its worth and the the ones that are get cash on top of balance redress as opposed to just redress. I agree they will contain most no's in this population. As i said, past customers paid the most and therefore have the heaviest weighted vote. Fewer will bother to vote, but each one of theirs is worth substantially more than existing complainants. And the FOS has a massive say and will make up a few percentage points of the yes vote. love it.

Dunc..as per last post..I think the past customers get a higher weighted voted than existing as does the FOS. ISA could confirm or anyone else..

May I also say that Freshfield Bruckhaus Deringer is expert at running these Schemes and understand how you make it work. Trust the Mgt team and a Golden Circle Law firm IMO. A question for ISA if he is here and recalls..but am I right in thinking that 75% of the value of votes needs to be reached and that past customers will get the highest weighting of vote not existing? because they paid the most in effect...this was discussed I think..

Hi Proveto - I think the reason everyone puts forward for no votes are all entirely valid but 1 in 2 or more have to fall into that camp. So every other person is either a) so peed off they don't want the money, b) still think they might get more in administration c) thought it was a scam when they got a letter and email from Amigo d) can't be bothered to vote for the sake of 150 quid or so. VERSUS 1 in 2 people thinking well its a few quid for doing F8ck all and/or its still better than nothing. Now be clinical about this and forget your investment. I'm seeing at least 70% in favour. Both because of the above logic, but nearly double the numbers by definition aren't mad at Amigo as they've moved on. Its a SHOE IN.

I would like to see an IQ builder product rather than a credit builder. If you have less that 20 IQ points like Jubber, you get 3 beans and have to give 4 back. Once they have nailed that premise, we can move on to real money. Jubber will be like..."what, so I can borrow money without sha**ing my Nan??" If 2 out of 3 existing complainants vote no. Then there are double the number of past customers being approached. They either won t vote at all or vote yes in at least 2 out of 3 in the other direction. Then you have the FOS voting yes. I d be amazed if it was less than 70% in favour.

The mgt team and experienced legal partners no exactly what they are doing. People.in the queue who thought they were getting hundreds or thousands will now get 200 odd quid next year. Some may vote no out of anger. They are in the minority. Is the beauty of the Scheme that it is weighted toward people who paid up the most? Aka padt customers that could afford the loan. So we get the votes from the people who won t win a claim. So genial.

I just emailed her as to why she's suggesting 10p and Amigo are suggesting 38p. Who are we to believe and is she bias? if so why etc..will let you know if i ever hear back.

One would imagine the FOS will likely accept as they can't do all that case work for zero pence. They also have a backlog of 150,000+ complaints and the CEO had to resign over it. The new CEO is keen to fix the problem and the only way realistically is to get what you can for previous cases referred and have the future complaints go to the SOA as they are inundated. Cannot conceivably see a logical alternative.

Why is it bad press. LTIP aka !"LONG" aka the need for a well managed business "LONG" term. absolutely sensible for attracting and retaining key staff. why should staff go through all the insecurity of losing their jobs for a 50p entry point when its all sorted thanks to them???? Hope that changes the perspective.

Don't go crystallising losses in CBX, MAC or PREM Mark..too painful giving up 30-40% losses on that lot.

One for short term trading as gold turns a corner. Can't hold this as its a single site mine in a dodgy country. Freedom House cites "corruption, mismanagement, political unrest and terrorism" as reasons for Egypt's severe economic issues. Authoritarian leader encroaching on the private sector...don't be shocked to wake up and find that they are changing mining regulations and want more blood out of the stone. Not deramping as this will see 2 quid eventually. Better mining plays with less risk out there.
