I m not worried as the FCA are even turning up. This is political theater as the FCA are under scrutiny themselves. The legal team will have a dtrong argument here namely the shareholders are putting in 15% and we may ne asked to up that ro 20% by the court to sanction it. The overwhelming vote tells me the court will sanction this but fca may yet force adjustments.

I m sure its been like election night Mark..you can see the direction of travel from very early on. I think the biggest sign has been subdued acvtivity across social media. If it was ose.you d have seen more comms activity. Its all been direct canvassing though.

The growth isn t really growth its just from a floor so low its frightening to think of..when inflation hits and people all starte cutting costs you aint gonna see much growth mate

Anyway as i soak in the bath chucking some thoughts out...i think the time has come to guesstimate the pace of book growth post relendin. If circa 250 ops folk work at amigo you can get sense of capacity they can handle and therefore likely trajectory. Any thoughts?

Actually its stagflation. Rising interest rates and no growth. You only need to look at how our productivity levels are so poor to know this is eventually landing. Greenspan is like a genius and called this already. The trap is set by govts worldwide and its going to be ugly.

Interest rates will go up in line with the base rate so will put real emphasis on affordability. Further rising rates will hit equity prices more broadly..the mother of all inflation is on the way. Crispin odey and buffet have already made major gold plays and waiting for 2nd half of year when it hits. Wait until mortgages on inflated prices start to rocket up in cost. All thats to enjoy in a year or so..

Thats rubbish spadger sorry...the sp in the 60s was forward looking by 9-12 months and the divi was based on past performance..we won t see a dividend until the end of 2022 . Still not long in the grand Scheme of things. Pun intended.

Looks like JB sold on the cheap and was also trying to shaft us somewhat. In an alternate universe he'd still be arguing with the FCA and pushing for a a judicial review which would have been months possibly more away. Same goes for Glen Campbell who was minded to go down the same route. Lucky escape and I know the ethos in my head was double my money in 6 weeks or wait for 8-9 months and sit it out but for more upside at the other end. As it happens its been tough to leave the original investment untouched and I could argue I was in way too soon, when the risk to the downside was eye poppingly high! That said I doubt I would have built up the conviction or courage to just keep holding had I bought in a few weeks back..I'd have traded out already. I say all this, as I hope it sounds a familiar LTH story and we do deserve a decent run up given the level of risk (which is actually still very real as we speak). I'd be surprised if this doesn't hit 50p by end of June with things needing to fall into place clearly. Vinson may be right that we'll see £1.00 much sooner than anyone can anticipate. Largely cos its a very scaleable business and the team is ready to go and the customers are waiting in the queue for the doors to open.

LINVESTOR you don t half talk a lot of sh8t. Lets help you. This isn t JPM money its their clients money. That client money, doesn t get 'punted ' like throwing bread at ducks like you infer. In fact, they have teams who all combine to determine an investment strategy for their clients money which goes through various gateways and then sign of st Director level. The same at Byrook and/or any other IM involved oast or present. You haven t got a clue.

Um thaw its only a 50% rose to 40p and 126% to 60p but i get you...i think we re getting each other on team Amigo!-)

I agree with the mindset. I m thinking 'what ifs' if the vote goes the wrong way, i imagine it ll be impossible to sell above 10p. SP would crash to 70-80% on the day to 8-9p. Unlikely.
Court don t sanction what the customers want..near on impossible but same as above.in that scenario.
FCA being so penal that we can t do business still. If so we d see a 30-40% down day whilst removing the roadblock.
I d say all in all, we ve gone from a 60-40% survival chance in Jan to about 90-10%.

Rest assured mark, any fine will be proportional and balanced. Number one FCA concern right now is balancing consumer protection with the needs of the economy. As per Risk Director of major credit referencing agency telling me. They are acutely aware that they need to get the balance righrt, so mega fines won t be landing. As i ve said the likeliest action will be a capital buffer we are asked to accrue should we fall foul of the rules in the future. FCA will ensure we have a pot available. This may be another 10% of profit put aside. Even with 25% tied up this is still a major opportunity for amigo 2.0 to shaft ooops i mean serve customers.-)

The whole point of that last rns was i believe, to start back sliding and letting investors down very gently on the mask whilst pointing to other potentiial opportunities. You ll get another rns or two slowly building up new hope ahead of some fund raise next year. Its a bullsh6t business.

The vast majority of ex customers haven t complained and are now being told they'll likely get free money over the next 4 yrs. Debtcamel mongface will be at the meeting but we ll have a legal team at the ready to push back. The customer base will find its way to Amigo of its own accord so no point buying from Prov. Its worth remembering that GJ explicitly said that he was truly excited about Amigo 2.0 that it will be v different and will "blow away" the market. Expect the new lending products to cause a stir. All aimed at credit building and inclusion with a digital platform. No surprise that antiquated doorstep lending is getting folded. Our market size and share will be sizeably more than it used to be, more than the 15% we re giving up. In 2 years, this will be £2+ minimum.
