In my most pessimistic outlook I had it at above 80%. Not only the binary view you put out Vinson but also how we get to do the approaching and framing and effectively the influencing is massively important. I would rather you Vinson kept your holding at 4.999999%. I think its rather useful to have our own private whale out of the auspices of public knowledge and away from the eyes of the II's. They may well think its lots of PI's not the man from Del Monte!:-))

Sorry Juxta take this as a deramp if you have to, but how can you say the "RNS has cleared up a lot of unanswered questions"???? Every RNS this year has been layered in half answers and essentially strung investors along. There is now a very good chance that this mask will never hit the markets. Why?? Because any large order to be filled of any worthy note would require a risk assessment of the order being fulfilled and the whole machine status would entirely fail that process as it stands. Its a huge chicken and egg and I don't think it'll be resolved. How do we know this. Because the RNS is yet more spin doctoring and planting seeds about new products being developed with huge potential. That will allow them to let you down a little more gently when they exhaust you over the inevitability of the mask saga. Its a case of the grand illusionist diverting everyones attention away from the truth. So no. I don't think it answers any questions at all pal. There are better investments elsewhere. Why would you not accept a 50% loss and invest in a better stock than take more of this maybe/possibly/hopefully nonsense whilst management have the luxury of earning from your investment??

Yummy 140% profit now. And in the words of Carol Carpenter. Its only just begun!:-)) I suspect by end of May we'll see 30-35p and then sideways movement during the summer...then a leg up to 50p odd in q3. pure speculation but lets not forget we do actually have an insolvency looming over us at least semantically! Nothing is done until it is done.

Well thats a bizarre old thread today. As i have said before part of the FCA conditions beyond the compensation pot will be to put another chunk aside as a capital buffer in case this were to happen again. No one has factored that in and its all conjecture anyway. Sentiment is what matters in the first 6 months of lending IMO.

Valuations right now are a finger in the air and a bit pointless. We don't know what limiting action the FCA may place on Amigo and we don't know how aggressive they can really grow with the new risk scorecard and funding availability/sources which need sorting. I suspect this will be a steady growth story and we'll need a couple of quarters of trading and forward guidance to start getting a proper sense. Lovely finish either way! in GJ we trust.

Interesting points all! Yep there will be some major announcement to do with debt restructuring which will make the holy trinity if RNS s and we know what the other two are already!!

Only argument Novice is we need to pay the bondholders back soon and then refinance so we can lend. If the argument is that we need a new cash injection etc...how does that work with an LTIP though?? Dear mr fca we re going private and X is already buying my shares for 50p..so don t worry about the LTIP...i m not sure the FCA would even sanction going private with an SOA running...a takeover works for me on any other terms. Same shares different ownership fresh investment.

I actually don t think its takeover speculation and lazy journalism. They obviously saw the shares up and chucked in the usual inference. This rise is purely on SOA outcome and relending. If we got an offer of 40p-50p i would like all PIs flatly reject it.
