The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
I have invested here as I have no fears a replacement NOMAD will be found. The Co has just posted its first positive EBITDA in the last results so is only moving one way IMO, and that's forward.
Taken from the recent news re NOMAD:
"As a result, the company has been working through alternative Nomad options including the possibility of a move to SP Angel. This process is ongoing and the company expects to appoint a replacement Nomad well before 1 February 2019."
"In the unlikely event that the company fails to appoint a replacement Nomad by 4 March 2019, the admission of its AIM Securities will be cancelled."
They say 'unlikely event', which sounds good enough for me.
Obviously everyone should do their own research, but I am happy with my investment here (for balance) so no, to answer your question, it doesn't surprise me! Cheers.
still - here's hoping for some really positive results next week and this getting back into double figures, hopefully!
just bought another 1.5m at 0.092p so hold 4.5m now at 0.0846p average - that will do me for now...
GL all and here's to some strong performance here in 2019...
How undervalued this share is (IMO).
The half-year figures to Sept '18 (below) showed gains in all but cash-in-hand (which was explained) and I cannot fathom how it is only worth an Mcap of £1m. Hopefully this will be one of the turn-around stocks of 2019...

I am back in with a small buy of 1.3m shares and will see how this pans out with a view to adding more as and when...
its socks off to get into the green before close - 5.09p just paid...
if it's anything like Erika Eleniak in Under Siege, I am there!
change of venue for the AGM to a theatre - hmm, must be planning a theatrical display!!
not to forget the dividends that were previously paid of circa 3.4p for the full-year dividend!
10th Jan I believe...
Trudging slowly over wet sand Back to the bench where your clothes were stolen This is the coastal town That they forgot to close down Armageddon, come Armageddon! Come, Armageddon! Come!
If MA bids for Deb won't it need to be around 16p/ share, based on 500m analyst estimate less debt? FWIW I'm going with the professional view and having read about all the new director appointments made by Boucher since taking the reigns it sounds like he has a good recovery plan in place. I'm sure Rachel Osborne wouldn't have chucked in her positions at Dunelm and Dominos if she was expecting the company to go under. Didn't she jump ship AFTER the latest profit warning??? I'm happy to wait around and see what happens with this, as it isn't all about the High Street IMO as Deb has a high online presence too... GL all whatever you plan to do and have a grreat NYE!!
If anyone is planning to do a TO at anywhere near that price, please can they wait until next week so I can top up to 200K shares first?! Thanks!
Pearls, didn't they publish an article recently about some high earning employees not justifying their price tag and just 'talking the talk', rather than 'walking the walk'? She evidently falls straight into that category!
which of the tickers he liked the best for 3 shares that I had my eyes on, and he chose DEB!
He's only 7, but that's good enough for me, so I bought 50K shares at 4p each today - it was either that or spend the money on beer (it would take about 2 years to spend £2K on beer and cause about 5 years' worth of liver damage, so I think he's done me a favour) :-)
Alternatively, it would buy me 20 Fred Perry jumpers in Debenhams!!!
On a serious note though, I have done enough research and feel the SP is crazy low (personally) so am putting my money where my mouth is on this one.
GL all, and have a great Xmas...
I think we have 100 sq km, which is about 10,000 hectares?
It says this on Continental Gold's Buritica website:
The Buriticá project is Continental Gold’s 100%-owned flagship high-grade gold project located in the middle Cauca belt in the northwest region of Colombia. Fully permitted, the project encompasses an aggregate area of 75,023 hectares in the Antioquia Department, easily accessible by an approximately two-hour drive on the paved Pan-American highway from Medellín, Colombia’s second largest city.
Any help?
up to 0.12 CAD, which is approx. 7p based on current exchange rates, so we are slightly down against the TSX.
BTW, I got in here yesterday and am hoping for great things starting next month... :-0
Come on OMI/ Newmont, give us all an early retirement!
Thanks Mister P.
I just wanted to check because the no. of shares in issue still shows as 117m on LSE but the RNS referred to the shares being admitted to AIM around 31/10/18.
Can anyone explain what this bit means please from the last RNS...
"The common shares issued to Maxit are subject to a hold period expiring four months and one day following the issuance date in accordance with applicable Canadian securities laws."
Does this mean the shares won't be granted to them until Feb '19 so the no of shares in issue won't be over 150m until this point? Just trying to understand the total shares in issue before deciding to invest here. Thanks!
