Thats because the model s battery is the 18650 one the truck will be the new 2170 at moment there is a huge bottleneck in giga factory on batteries they have to recode all the robots to get them working right.They bought the supplier so it will work through.Tesla will spend $5 billion on giga factory when it is fully operational there will be a firestorm of new products.This is all from me as I am no longer invested here but I do hope redt can make a succes of it as the tech is there but I fearvthat is not enough

Elon musk said that truck fully loaded does 1mile to 2Kwh extrapolate to 1Mwh for 500mile.The kicker thougj is if you take the price difference between the ,300 and 500mile truck you come out with a battery that is very near $100 /kwh that is massive and why I sold redt

The battery size comes in 2sizes a 300 mile one and a 500 mile one look on youtube info is there the oz project is 100mwh working with a added size foe optimisation.I am not popping at red t I am just a teslamaniac

Do not want to put a bummer on this but sold out again.Tesla has just launched what they call a semi truck.Now the battery for this monster is 1MWH and the truck is $160000 so at this price Tesla must be planning a huge drop in price of lith batteries.They have virtually busted Nikoli truck the fuel cell one so what is going to happen with grid storage Tesla is a juggernaut all on its own.They are controlling the market at price points nobody can compete with.Redt must be established in 6 months or they will be swallowed up AIMO of course migh be so wrong but red is so bloody slow it might be left behind?????

Yes sad that this company has much potential but with the management being a total group of sh**** I would not trust them to deliver a card to santa never mind a tant mine.I think they have not got on top of the process yet and are struggling to hit spec on the tant so overpromise and under deliver I think that is one of the main tennants of AIM I will wait to see real progress but even then they will find a way to screw you.pesonaly I would avoid until a clear change of attitude to the shareholders and the market
