TWO years ago the consensus was for every 1% increase in total electric car production double lithium need at the moment I would say that the big squeeze for lith supply will be 2019 to 2021 then production will catch up but I think that takeup of electric is accelerating so what is slowing thing down is the inability of manufacturer's to build production?????

You look at what china is doing in africa The western car companies do not get it they think because they are big they call the shots how wrong they are.The EU is sitting on its arse as usual china is pro active with a plan and is running rings around the west who said markets are dumb.Trouble is in 10yrs china will controll all renewable tech and sqeeze us dry.

Do not forget running cooling off a 100mwh battry is marginal thats why it is oversized to take into account running nothing is free there is running cost on vrb as well.Biggest worry is lithium is gaining exsposure and is fast becoming go to solution.

The only way to make money on electric cars is to vertically integrate TESLAdoes this and is miles ahead of everyone VW et al are still stuck in old way of thinking commity decisions and squeeze suppliers does not work in new world order.I think Vw are more interested in saving diesels plants than electric cars at moment but when the penny drops will it be too late?????

Biggest mistake I made was selling on first drop then buying a safe ?share to park money until news it fell off a cliff 22% down at moment but not beaten yet
