I was a holder here a while back but have since jumped ship to others (GGP, ROCK), however I'm still keeping my eye on this, does anyone know where OMI would get any ore processed that they would extract and the distance to the refinary .. ?
I've had a look but I cant seem to find the information.

The sad thing is that when its up and running over the lifetime of the mine it will generate a minimum of £100 billion sterling product, the jobs, profits, & tax would have mostly stayed on shore and local the area, now i would expect most of it to go offshore.

Likewise, I'm an ex holder. I could live with the fact that it went wrong and I lost, as I thought I had just got my investment decisions wrong, but to find out later that the government minster Jerrick who was supposed to look out for the country, killed it for his mate Ofar is hard to take. Jerrick probably got a cash backhander (never proven, probably never will be). Ofar obviously cant remember talking to his fried, the only person who could get the mine stopped by denying govt finance and then shifting the blame to Truss.

And Jerrick - probably an israeli spy (not proven, but no doubt will be) still remains in the cabinet.

You couldn't make this stuff up.

I wouldn't be surprised that if and when the tunnel does get finished there are a lot of unexplained problems in the future that put it out of action for months on end.

from your original question and reviewing some of the other documentation out there i would say yes it is a good investment. how one makes the investment is the hard part, as its listed on the ASX.
Has anyone managed to buy any while based in the UK, if so how ?

You bought in at 15p, the share prices crashed, the shares were worth 5.5p when they were all sold for you, you should have received the proceeds by now from wherever you bought the shares from (if not chase them).

I'm in for a small 50K shares, I'm a late comer to the party, also i got burned with SXX so I'm more diversified and hopefully a bit wiser. From what i see though GGP looks good. GLA etc etc.
