Wilfie. Like most I've been topping up periodically so you were not the only one to buy near the recent high, I'll keep topping up where i can while the price is below 50p because once the results start to come in i don't think this will be below 50p after that.

Morning anyone who is still looking in here, if they were thinking of getting into OMI now would be about the best time, the shareprice has bottomed out and is starting to take off again, drilling results are due soon.

though looking at the hills they seem to be a bit devoid of vegatation which is probably a good thing, as its not farmland its land/rock which should have a high level of mineralization which is not the best for growing plants.

try this.
bring up google earth
search for
anza south america
the globe will scroll and you will be left with a picture, you will see santa rosa in the screen zoom in a tiny bit, and drag slightly right.
in the bottom left la Cordillera will be showing and above and slightly right will be santa rosa
draw an imaginary line between them
anza is 3rds of the way along the line on the right.
if you zoom in on the road above the distinctive hairpin bend you will see a track going up the valley, all of that is the anza prospect ..... I think.
not much showing though. seems to be jungle mostly

Morning, I think I've just invented a new trading strategy.
I hold both GGP (up 10%) yesterday and OMI (down 20%) yesterday.
So I just sold 30% of GGP and topped up here.
If when it reverses I'll do the same again and top up GGP.

I have no idea if it will work, but we will see.

I got burned bigtime on SXX but its gone, don't think there is anything you can do about it. I'm not in the sharesoc thingy as i think it will take years if anything comes of it, and i doubt that, who will you be claiming money back from .... ?
and no doubt there will be ongoing lawyers fees.

For me its all over, had to move on, I now hold AAL shares so still have a little bit.

Still keep checking in here though.

I think it may have now bottomed out and is on the up again ..... When it moves it moves fast ....
So DYOR etc etc.

Most of us here will have done their own research, and understand the fundamentals, the short term gyrations in the share price will not matter in the long run. Like many I'm disappointed in the recent drop, but I have no intention of selling, as I had enough trouble buying the tranches of shares when I did. When this moves you will be unable to buy and by then you will miss the hike.

More experienced posters than i will answer no doubt, but i would say "fill your boots at these prices" and hold for 2 years.

some of us (me) are topping up, buying and holding so we're still here, I dont post much but i check this board out several times a week.

Big pull back on this now, I'm now down 350% from where i was earlier - still ahead though.
There should be a big pushup in future when results start coming in, so if you were thinking about it .......
