I would add that I believe industry professionals will over the next few weeks examine the product and likely want either to partner or buy OBD.

The markets could correct next week and OBD sp get dragged down but not out. The product is just too good imo. In my opinion a buy and hold at today's entry price.

As it happens already held POS and was 90% down but had purchased 100,000 shares at 3p. As it rose I was able to salami slice profits so its been a great 8 weeks. Still hold a modest number of POS shares.

PMG remains a disappointment to me if not others. Tom Cross had a great run at Dana but not here. To be balanced the UK gov policy on oil and gas insane imo.

My other piece of luck OBD, had bought in the pandemic but stop lossed out. Then re purchased a modest punt as I had some hope of the science coming good. On the day, I read the RNS, placed a fill or kill and grabbed 100,000 shares. The rest was easy, top sliced, re considered, top sliced and then recently added a few.

Unhelpful news at a time when the markets are very nervous. One bad move and investors hit the sell button while the shorters make money at our expense. PTEC need some strong positive news to get anywhere near 600p a share.

"This order generated revenues of £850,000 for Plexus in the 2023 financial year, which is a 70% increase on the initial estimates."

Of itself this is not unexpected but the RNS also suggests Plexus could pick up far more work in the decommissioning of oil and gas fields.

I hope it includes some details on their business model, are they making enough profit from what they offer to customers to survive in a tight credit market?

Purchased a decent stake at 10p on day of RNS and in a stroke of luck my HL fill or kill was filled at market open.

Top sliced twice on the way up but this morning started to buy shares back below 40p. My personal view is that OBD will re rate from here or attract a bid, DYOR.

There is nothing wrong with the sector.

There is nothing wrong with the product.

But there is something very wrong about the management and finances.

Not with that PoS running the company but the business a sound one imo if run competently.

Waiting to read the RNS admitting to accounting problems or similar and might bet on the company which buys out the wreckage.

Can we discuss progress and potential?

Fair point, I jumped the gun and put in a fill or kill for 0800but having paused will leave it in place. Having re read text plus comments it is a very positive RNS imo.

The RNS is total BS imo.

Oh dear how sad, never mind.....

"World stocks were on track for their longest losing streak in two years as the sight of oil prices heading for $100 a barrel compounded worries that interest rates will stay higher for longer."

And tomorrow.....and next week but.....fresh orders not too far away imo as news flow for the North Sea has turned positive and gas tight seals a must have globally if nothing more than ESG window dressing.

This company will do well imo once the Gov has agreed all permits and paperwork to permit production to go ahead. Until then there is a risk of delays and political change. The latter seems to be a sig factor in sub Saharan Africa at the moment.

It appears to come down to this from the FT:

The presentation is a bit geeky and did not inspire me. Hard to work out what this library is worth?

Missed the boat by a mile with my fill or kill but enjoying the ride with my remaining stake.

Where will this pause or settle? Honestly not sure but be wary of assuming it was £x therefore it should bounce back. DYOR punt only what you can afford but ride your winners while they remain in the blue.

Use the filter to eliminate those you think are malign or just abusive. Listen to the posters who write something of interest even if you do not agree with them. Contrarians can be useful members of the team but be wary of placing tru$t in anonymous posters inc me.
