Gran Tierra Energy Inc - Colombia and Ecuador-focused oil and gas exploration and production company - Says it has issued new 9.500% senior secured amortising notes, due in 2029 and worth USD487.6 million. Issuance forms part of Gran Tierra's previously announced offers to exchange its 6.250% senior notes due 2025 and 7.750% notes due in 2027. Chief Executive Officer Gary Guidry says due to "successful completion" of offers, "[its] balance sheet is now stronger due to an improved amortisation schedule, less restrictive conditions, and overall reduced leverage."

Well the volume is encouraging, the sp not so much but did not expect a miracle. Bought back in modestly in the expectation of more solid news over the next few months.

You might be correct Roger. RR admits on YouTube that a % of the exploration businesses which he backs are duds.

But he has also made serious money from the ones which were not duds. Time will tell as regards POW, I am not investing until I see a truly positive RNS.

Exactly! Yes some of you knew this etc but I needed to read it in an RNS. The stakeholders in SOLG are impressive and still holding a significant % of the company.

Semantics imo, the RNS listed here under AIM. My point is that SOLG is as mentioned in the RNS a small company with illiquid shares. As it happens I had given up and sold a few weeks back. Today, a fill or kill with HL to buy back in my faith restored by this RNS.

An RNS which mentions Rick Rule is not a nothingburger imo. Mr Rule only invests in explorers which he thinks might at least 5 bag. His logic is simple enough, some explorers are duds so he needs 5 baggers or better to balance the risk.

The question for me is simple. Is POW a dud or a multi bagger? My concern is that POW is late to the Uranium game but the Canadian resources might attract a bid from a producer in the basin.

NSTA seem to be co-operating, hope it all goes through.

A comprehensive and honest update which left me stunned. This really is a buy and hold. The RNS is one of the most convincing I have read from any AIM listed mining exploration company.

And a few private investors like me who bottom feed and ended the days very slightly in the blue of a small stake? As it happens I had heard of GGP before, had done a little research and saw "the bad news" as a chance to buy in.

The fact that there is more trading offers some hope of better news imo.

I saw the RNS, had a look at the comments here and looked at the company website.

Decided to buy 12,000 via HL, a very modest punt I know.

I believe GGP is sat on a % of a rich find and will add if the news improves.

Tread carefully, some of us bought SOLG and were seduced by promises that the management would see it through from exploration to production. As it happens could not a quote from HL just now but left a fill or kill to buy a few.

A very modest order for £100k just popped up but I would not be surprised if they win more follow on contracts.
