Personally if a share has given me sleepless nights I do not just sell when level. Yep I sell on the way down and take a hit but once down and bumping along the bottom I reassess.

In doing so I kid myself I was "early" rather than plain wrong. Where I feel there is still hope I add shares cheaply and then wait for news. It can be a long wait, POS.

But, once a news flow established and the sp going up don't sell early! Sure, salami slice maybe to recover your original stake but be patient and make a profit. DYOR.

HL has the sp up 15% ish on the news.

Another order, modest in value but the news trend is key here imo.

I bought a small stake recently and sold this morning having made a few hundred quid profit. This is not to say many of you are wrong about what GGP might be worth one day but I bought on momentum and sold after reading today's RNS. A company imo needs proven drilling and assay results to get funding for a mine. Maybe future results will tip the balance?

CIZ looks more like flotsam drifing in and out with the trading tide than a company with plenty of thrust on course for a safe harbour.

Before they are producing gold from Kenya? I assume a few years but today's RNS looked very promising. Worth doing some research and maybe a dabble later?

Interesting that someone appears to be promoting a pos news flow from HQ? Not yet the news I am hoping for from Sweden but it helps the sp.

Certainly a good time to quietly buy more shares imo.

Guilty as charged, I was also suckered into buying without doing sufficient research. I really should know better by now. Hoping that the price of gas and production over this winter is sufficient to finally pay off the vultures but what to do about the management?

But K, if oil prces went to $150 a barrel the HBR share price would likely drop some more (sarc)?

I stop lossed some time ago but remain engaged with HBR because I just cannot believe how badly the sp has fallen and yet, it has, therefore I have to accept this is one company that I just do not understand and should avoid for now.

They appear to be sat on loads of oil but unable to extract it efficiently because of sanctions? With the best western oil tech daily production would be way higher? The sanctions and discount via Russian pipelines such that they are selling oil at a discount into local markets? Come the end of the war and lifting of sanctions in prob a few years time this company would be a money spinner. Aplogies for thinking aloud but at the current sp this is an interesting bet imo.

Meh! Cash runway appears ok into 2024.

Very nice but we need more assay results to make this a transformational bet. Enjoy the ride and yes buy and hold seems a good play at the moment but be prepared for some downs along with the ups.

Until all of the required permits are granted Tigris still iable to delay imo but nonetheless potentially a great resource. I thought the following ref Sweden was encouraging:
