Hamm, most business's have debt, it allows to write that down and offset tax. Like having a mortgage in most countries, you deduct the interest against your salary and pay on what's left.
Also, better to have cash on hand for expenditure for future purchases etc.

This is what happened to EZJ, Wizz too, then they started to rise, IAG is in a much better position, but that is just my opinion.
I think all travel will need this year to get back to 'profit' leading into 2023, this year will be all about reducing losses, which is a positive in my book.

The 'news' was just comparing Shell's 2021 Q2 profit of £4.5b to this years Q2 profit of £9.2. Funny how they forget to mention that oil was at $50 then and no one was driving or flying and yet this year the skys are full and people are all back in their cars..

EC, BA could be the last airline left on the planet and the sp would still be held down, the market is manipulating all travel stock at the moment. The system is so rigged, these last two years have shown us that.
