Roundtable Discussion; The Future of Mineral Sands. Watch the video here.
I'll take a punt: if we can can announce which production models we're actively in and aviation flys.. 22 with a 26 spike. Hope I'm wrong though and 2022 SEEs a good flow of news.
My target is 25x rocket, but each to their own I suppose.. ;-)
Not sure we're in talks with AeroSpace yet, but you never know 'Space Force' may yet call.. last thing the world needs are drowsy or intoxicated astronauts zooming about the moon.
There has been a sharp increase in the number of Automatic Trades, many for 'smaller' amounts. Stop losses are being triggered at the low end of what is quite a wide spread.. = more profit for the MM's. LTH'S know how volatile this one can be, and I think many may regret their stop loss orders in time.. I don't have the energy to trade these ones, but Buy em cheap, Sell em high, surely all part of the 'game'.. I think I need a coffee.
I'm surprised no-one has mentioned it yet: i.e. magna veoneer qualcomm - this is a shrewd move by Magna. They don't want Qualcomm swooping in, without getting a cut of the pie. ;-)
Dms will be a standard safety system in the same way seat belts and airbags are... you don't pay a subscription for your airbags do you? For the 'extras' such as navigation information, then maybe, if it's worth it to them people will.
We use In-Vehicle Monitoring System (IVMS) to help us to
improve driving behaviour by providing details of a driver’s
performance. Vehicle movements, location and actions such as speeding, harsh braking, sharp acceleration, driving hours, and use of seat belts are tracked. Monitoring of these parameters enables us to recognise and encourage safe driving performance and improve fuel economy. We require IVMS in all heavy good vehicles in all countries and in light vehicles in many of the high risk countries we operate. Since 2005, we have installed more than 31,000 of these devices. - Shell website.
Gives an indication at least.. 31,000?

I know everyone here 'gets it'.. but legislation really needs to get moving on this and now.
Tim Edwards also seems to be a big fan of the Fisker Ocean, not a bad looking car (maybe he's just hinting at wanting one as a birthday gift...) Tesla is soon going to be facing some pretty serious competition though.
The Merc Chatter started when the SEE/Merc User Handbook was accidentally leaked online..

Looking at the specs of Driveri, its seems to me to be no more than a fancy chunky DashCam with an inward facing camera. Amazons Drivers are furious over it, over on Reddit they are petitioning its removal, it's certainly not a DMS in the way we know. They do boast a million miles of data though.. ha. The difference I see in marketing is that they look to 'correct bad driving habits' under the guise of 'safety'.. its not a safety device imv, its a nanny cam.
Amazon is using Driveri which is designed by Californian start-up Netradyne - I couldn't SEE any link to us..?

"Safety creates trust. And trust creates confidence. It is our firm belief that when the user is trusting enough in their vehicles to take them to their destination safely, they will finally be able to relax. By allowing the car to take over the wheel completely they will subsequently get in a “zen” mode and focus on other things while on the road, claiming some precious quality time back. Be it for leisure and pleasure like reading a book, playing a game with the family or even taking a nap.." -
"The initial launch will be on Volvo Car’s SPA2 modular platform, which will offer Volvo’s first unsupervised self-driving system, called Highway Pilot."
Volvo going for the full auto then... hmmm... maybe it should read, 'Trust creates complacency and complacency creates... Tesla levels of stupidity?'

Unfortunately still some way to go before people 'get it'...

NO Clue who this guy is.. but he's keen On Seeing Machines. Not entirely accurate assessment, but maybe he'll garner some attention..
QUALCOMM to report a profit of $2.10 in the fiscal first quarter, which represents year-over-year growth of over 110% from the same quarter last year when the company reported $0.99 per share. The semiconductor company will report revenue of $80.3 billion, up over 60% from the year-ago quarter. -
"Unless you can watch your stock holding decline by 50% without becoming panic-stricken, you should not be in the stock market." -Warren Buffett.
They will also be incompatible with other 'road users', use their own software that won't work unless you sign a 50 page agreement, use their own non standard connections for Apple only charge stations, be very very expensive and if you need help the car will put you through to a 15 year old 'Genius' who will mock you for your lack of understanding a basic task such as driving.. although they no doubt will look prity. ;-)
Personally I don't understand why anyone would want to have a 'one way' video conference from their car.. while driving.. they can see/hear you (nice when you forget and pick your nose)... what application could this have? IF I had to attend a Video call, I'd pull over and use laptop/phone/tablet... maybe.
