The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring Jeremy Skillington, CEO of Poolbeg Pharma has just been released. Listen here.
Dip - I was not really expecting Tymers calculations but he now has time to prove me wrong. My reasoning for asking the question is that Tymers has been criticising others for posting theories or future predictions on price, etc; and yet provides a figure of 88p and pats himself on the back for a thread about his price forecast but has never provided any calculations how he gets to it. Therefore is it a bit of a contradiction to pull up others and to use only use info from "official sources, etc" in respect to giving a "balanced view" ?; I think it is.
I'm in no doubt Tymers is a nice fella and probably the type I'd have a pint with, but I just feel he contadicts himself sometimes and it should be made aware; in case some investors are taken in by some of his statements - which are all not from official sources.
Tymers - Although I've read your SP figure of 88p many times in various threads over the past 6 months or more, I've never actually seen any posts with your calculations on how you get to that figure. Maybe I've missed a thread or post with the calculations in them, but I'b be pleased if you could share them again, thanks.
Bamps - apart from the antagonistic few, then no-one would laugh at you calculation; the genuine holders just appreciate your knowledge and the time and effort you put in at having a stab at calculations that are beyond most on this board.
Even if your calculations were a reasonable percentage out, at least you've provided a ballpark figure for people to think on. The main hope for people on this board is you're near the mark and if correct then eventually when the tonnage figures start being officially proved up and added to MRE's (updated over the years) and then also materially processed at Telfer then the SP will be indicative of them, relative to the timeframe.
There we go, Bully trying to be funny with the comment but yet another dive in with the negative undertone and nothing constructive or explaining why; it's just antagonistic ...... and people wonder why so many posters are not posting - most probably because of the intimidation.
Why can't you try to be nice and maybe try to explain why the buy shows as a sell ?
RJW - this link might help explain it:- http://themaskedstocktrader.blogspot.com/2015/01/why-are-buys-showing-as-sellsthere-are.html#:~:text=31%20January%202015-,Why%20are%20buys%20showing%20as%20sells%3F%2FThere%20are%20more,the%20share%20price%20is%20falling!&text=Effectively%2C%20a%20trade%20is%20given,spread%20the%20trade%20lands%20on.
I get some people are trying to provide a 'balanced view' but some of them just dive straight in with antagonistic comments or try to make other posters sound silly.
As an example of antagonism (IMO) in a thread yesterday; a poster made a comment that was maybe incorrect or actually they had no knowledge about buying ASX shares in the the UK; so one of the 'balanced view' posters wades in and comments as follows "who said UK investors cannot invest in the Australian market? ridiculous....."
Now in my opinion, it would be much better with a courteous reply along the lines of "actually you can invest in Australian shares in the UK and companies like IG and a few others allow it".
Maybe I'm wrong, but I just thought we're all on the board to try and help others, if you can, or generally just post within a conversation to demonstrate some knowledge or just be nice and take part in debate.
I've posted a few times over the past few months saying about certain posters (not named) calling people rampers and traders out here but doing the same themselves on other boards - and one was also cross ramping another share on a quite a few different boards.
I've nothing against people buying and selling what shares they want as everybody is here to make money, but it's the contradiction of some that annoys me; especially when they post that at one point they held 7 million shares and sold down to 1 million and call others traders, so I'm posting this mainly for the reason that I find the poster quite arrogant and antagonistic, along with a few well known others (which IMO has been the main catalyst for the demise of the board):-
Tymers Posted in: OMI RE: NEWBIE ALERT! (Forgive me) 06 Dec 2020 16:32
I've held ggp for over 3 years at one stage holding 7 million slicing down to 1 million currently with 650k banked but ggp the story has only just begun as as you have seen ETFs and funds adding weekly expect to nice from gdxj to gdx.
I certainly say good luck to the man for banking that sum of money and well deserved for taking the risk, but he shouldn't be calling other people 'traders' on this board - just my opinion and not from official sources; and also I wish he would stop posting for glory recognition and a pat on the back or condescending comments towards others - I find it arrogant and of no benefit to the board. (take that as a condescending comment if you want)
SaS - you can maybe criticise some of the Newbiex but certainly not all of them. One of the main problems on the board is some of the LTH's keeping throwing their gold plated toys out of the pram and keep bickering and resort to name calling over some posts.
Now I can admit to maybe giving some suspected derampers/neggy agenda posters a bit of a hard time but with many of my later posts then I tried to at least show my thinking and identify their motive without acting like a child (well,I hope I did).
There's people on here (including LTH) that just seem to go for the throat after a couple of posts in a thread; and posters wonder why the genuine regular posters are not posting as much as they used to.
My gut feel on this (and I've commented similar before) is that after the PFS and MRE updates then to buy the whole 30% for the rest of Havieron might be too high a cost, but NCM will probably take the 5% option and be happy with 75% of Havieron knowing the huge revenue upside and enough ore to feed Telfer for 15-20+ years and more.
Even after 'the drop' and all the debate, speculation and 'balanced discussion'** on here then I've not budged and simply holding for gold.
** NOTE - I generally find that the negative agenda 'balanced discussion' is used by some who complain about too much positivity on this board and criticise the 'ramping' crew or accuse people of being traders but they can be found ramping or being positive on other boards themselves or actually ramping another share across different boards.
Also one of the 'balanced opinion' crew posted today about laughing and hoping people got caught on a spike on another share - why would you laugh at people possibly losing money; they are a complete weasel in my thinking. The post was removed but I know and they know who they are.
Apologies for that short rant, but not posted all week and need a little vent without being too dark on some posters everyday and clogging the board.
AuntyA - If you are asking if you can transfer the actual shares from a trading account directly into a SIPP, then no you can't. You can only transfer shares direct 'in specie' to/from likewise accounts i.e. from a SIPP to a SIPP or from a S&S ISA to another S&S ISA.
If your shares are in a trading account then you can maybe do a 'Bed & ISA' into a S&S ISA (if the receiving company allows it) but for 'in company' or 'out of company' transfers from a trading account into a SIPP then the shares have to be sold and the cash proceeds then transferred into the SIPP after the two day settlement period (I'm sure for most companies this should be 2 days, but it might be more with some companies).
Great presentation and plenty of drilling activity planned with exciting times ahead.
I generally think of exploration being the complete opposite of batting in baseball - not 3 strikes and you're out, it's 3 strikes and you're IN. Yes, that's IN the big money - hopefully we strike (at least) twice more and all shareholders get in the big money !!

Rotherby - if you're interested I have posted previous threads (same title) with other companies updates; posted over the past few weeks - check back on my history.
By posting this type of information then it's to try and show that other companies are making discoveries in the region which lends weight to the fact that Greatland could also possibly find another viable discovery (or discoveries) within their other tenements - which of course is what SD and the company are trying to achieve. If they do strike then it's even happier days for all invested in GGP.
A recent update of results from some of the neighbours in the Paterson/Pilbara region. Please note, this is not a cross ramp for these companies but just posting presentations or results as some members on this board take an interest in the information provided and for comparison to GGP/NCM results and presentations.
Also there has been discussion and interest around province/district scale mineralisation discoveries in the whole region and there is hope that GGP finds other deposits and/or 'linked' anomalies contained within the overall geology of the region.

NOTE: Some of the above project areas referenced are a reasonable distance from Havieron but do tie in with overall mineralisation discoveries in the whole Pilbara and Paterson regions; and Greatland have several other projects that are a reasonable distance from Havieron but hopefully have the same identifiable potential as the other company’s discoveries covered in the above updates.
Please note that some of the well known knowledgeable posters on this board take an interest in these types of releases, so please do not have the thread removed.
Also, I do not provide any additional commentary on whether these company results are good or bad as I'm only trying to provide information for those who are interested and lend into the thinking of district scale discoveries; and of course this is the GGP board for GGP discussion. It's up to the individual reader to take what they want from these updates and/or presentations and make comments if they want.

PoG nudging near $1800, it would be perfect timing to hit it tomorrow or early next week for the drilling update; We never know there could be a bump up on the MRE figures as it is the NCM quarterly update; if so and combined with an $1800+ PoG it could help put a good few pence on the SP. Of course, it's just pure speculation and not from official sources.
