The next focusIR Investor Webinar takes places on 14th May with guest speakers from Blue Whale Growth Fund, Taseko Mines, Kavango Resources and CQS Natural Resources fund. Please register here.
An update of results from some of the neighbours in the Paterson/Pilbara region. Please note, this is not a cross ramp for these companies but just posting results as some members on this board take an interest in the presentations and the information provided for comparison to our own results and presentations.
Also there has been discussion and interest around province/district scale mineralisation discoveries in the region and there is hope that GGP finds other deposits and/or 'linked' anomalies contained within the overall geology of the region.
Certainly some of the well known knowledgeable posters on this board take an interest, so please do not have the thread removed.

NOTE: Some of the above project areas are a reasonable distance from Havieron but do tie in with overall mineralisation discoveries in whole Pilbara and Paterson regions; and Greatland have several other projects that are a reasonable distance from Havieron but hopefully have the same potential as the other companies discoveries covered in the above updates.
Maybe it's just the Moderators removing posts they don't think is relevant but in my opinion then due to the possibilities of district scale discoveries within the region and just a general interest in the overall area plus appreciation of the presentations then there should be no harm in posting - Also when you do state you are not cross ramping then the posts are acceptable.
It was a post on it's own thread - so not sure why it should be removed. Others post similar and I have posted them previously and it was not ramping the other companies; just I know people take an interest and like to see the results and structure of the presentations for further knowledge of the whole region - so I don't know what the problem is, anyone got an idea or can the complainer state why they think it is inappropriate ?
I'm sure I posted earlier updates from some of our Neighbours in the Paterson/Pilbara region - as people on here take an interest in their presentations and results. Does anyone know if the post removed or maybe I didn't actually post it correctly ?
JC - good post and certainly patience is require with GGP at the present time; but we all know the fundamentals have not changed and there will be a good return on investment in GGP - good things come to those who wait.
Lol, I see the Admins deleted my initial post in this thread that pointed out what Jvetch was doing on the other board; so praise to the Admins when it's due and I respect their positive action on an abusive poster.
Anyway, lets move on and be positive that it was a blue finish today; which was good and maybe warranted on the good RNS this morning.
Totally agree Spy - Lol, It's a bit like those Ebay sellers who put in a caveat of anyone with less than x amount of posts should not bid. But we do have to accept there are genuine newbies - like I was once myself - who want to be part of the community and post positively.
We can't all be technically researched posters or geologists, but can add value to the board in general conversation.
There was no reaction from Jvetch - that's because he's gone. No doubt others reported him, but I reported him earlier because of the manner of his posts on here but mainly on the blatant goading and deramping on the ODX board after cross commenting positively on the AVCT board. I pointed out that it's definitely behaviour not acceptable by LSE.
Nap - I'm not sure he wants a lower entry price in ODX - he just goes onto the board to make out AVCT is better than ODX, goads and make negative comments - I'm quite sure he's not interested in buying ODX, just wants to be obnoxious on that board.
Folks - I appreciate some people are frustrated at the current share price but it's not just the mining sector that's down, there are other shares affected by the overall downturn the past few months. For example, I have a small holding in a renewable energy company that had a high of 29.5p last year and were riding along fine in the low 20's in January this year, now their down at 7p.
If you're here for the long term then you'll easily ride out the downturn and be fully rewarded by GGP in the coming years.
Do yourself a favour today and ignore the trolls.
Don't like pushing my own posts but I'm off the board for the rest of the evening but might have a quick shuftie later tonight.
As the thread heading states - DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS; no doubt they're waiting in the wings to see if it's a red or blue finish and will pounce at the slightest hint of a posters fear to try and sow their negativity and doubt into holders minds, and also bring disruption to the board - just ignore them.
(and my thinking is it will be a blue finish)
Looks like the one of the quadruple posts have been removed, so maybe Admin will remove the other 3 but if they don't then please do not post in them - you'll only pop the thread back up to the top for the troll's cycle to start again; best let the good posts push them down the board and off the page.
This morning there is a poster on this board who started four new threads with the same title (I will not mention names because Admin will remove the thread - so no-one else please mention it in any replies). It is obvious if you start multiple threads with the same title then really your only purpose is to disrupt the board.
So I will say this again - Please do not feed the trolls; they only want you to keep posting in their thread to keep it near the top of the board for more members to read their negativity. Let's be clear - If there is no real research to support the comments then it is not a balanced view - it's just an agenda to sow negativity and doubt.
The fundamentals have not changed here and nor should your thinking. You're here because you believe in Greatland Gold and you know they have a share in a Tier 1 mine and other prospective projects; have the confidence and hold onto your shares.
DO NOT FEED THE TROLLS - If their post looks negative then it's because they have an agenda.
.... and certainly don't believe the trolls - easy to spot with their subtle negative agenda.
All - I'm not here for glory posting, I'm here because I believe in what I have invested in and try to support the board. I can appreciate the SP is maybe as not as good as it could be and I'm actually sitting with a red loss in my SIPP (not a reduced paper profit) but I'm here for the long haul and believe that GGP will return me good value on my investment; so for me then negativity under the guise of a 'balanced view' without any decent research is not needed on this board.
If your invested here then you have to be thinking positive and holding strong, otherwise we would all be quoting doom and gloom and adding to the doubt and misery like some posters are trying to sow. If you're not invested here, then in my opinion you should be respecting the board members and not trying to sow doubt and negativity.
It's up to the individual to manage their own investments and make decisions to hold, buy or sell; but make sure the decision is your own and not based on what you read on this board.

Somewhat – You don’t have to apologise to me. I can’t say I’ve posted much quality researched information myself but have posted the occasional technical link and my thoughts and opinions where I think they were merited and I do try to post thoughtfully and balanced when I can; with the occasional semi-rant against the doom mongers, but I have now tried a bit more reasoning with them instead of going for the jugular.
I'm sure all the posters you mentioned are all still here and read the board and of course they still post the research, information and musings on the board when they can – Bamps of course being one of the main stalwarts for info flow; but the dynamics have changed the past few months and it's just the way it is. IMO then most of the hard research work and thinking for the exploration and growth of Havieron to a mine has been done – and we are all thankful for the many great contributions that got us here – but it is moving forward with NCM at great pace and of course there is still info to be found and posted, and the information will still flow, probably just a little less than it was the last few years. I’m sure with the run up to the PFS and an MRE update then the excitement, quality and confident thought provoking posts will return in abundance. (not that I’m saying there isn’t some at the present time)
Maybe if the Scally results were a bit different then there would be more chatter and research being posted; just the past 3 months there’s not much happening other than the Hav drilling updates and the progress of work on the mine infrastructure but we do have the new round of exploration starting up and I’m sure there will be plenty of new information, results, etc to discuss and comment on.
The fundamentals for GGP have not changed, so just as people have to be patient with the current SP then they also have to be patient with the current ‘state’ of the board, which in my opinion is still a good place to be – I would rather be here than not and IMO you certainly don’t want to be out of this board in the coming year.
...and I do apologise for my negativity in my last post, but it has been a good day on the board and unfortunately some threads were deleted, but I'm just not getting why people should complain about the quality when it has been a good day.
Somewhat and Oil - yes, there has been some complaints about the quality of this board over the past few months; even a few weeks ago there was a once a month or every few weeks poster came onto the board and moaned about the quality and the lack of informative posts, on the board - but looking at their posting history then they have not posted many 'informative posts' themselves and actually looks like they just want the informative posts from others to further their knowledge or gain confidence.
Sorry, but I just find it a bit rich that people come on and moan about the quality of posts or lack of informative posts but they actually do not add to the quality of the board or post any meaningful information themselves. No doubt somebody can nit pick my posting history, but I'm not moaning about the quality of the board; and actually many of my recent balanced posts trying to protect the board against the negative disruptive crowd have been deleted within disruptive threads.
IMO, If people are going to complain about the quality of posts on the board then maybe they should ensure some of their own posting history has been beneficial to the board.
