You make an interesting comparison with ARC - which l also own - l have to admit in valuation terms AFP does look the more attractive. Equally as l learnt with XTR and Bushranger, best to spread risk over multiple projects and locations. In the end they are all just holes in the ground until mining starts.

True. I did do a small top up yesterday but AIM is grim at the moment. I now realise why Colin is having to work until he is 80 given the investment performance of his companies !.

Thanks for putting some numbers on BR. I can now see why people abandoned ship at 5p a share. Personally l would rather Colin just focussed on GLR/AFP and BZT now and let someone else decide what to do next with BR.

Would be nice to get an update on the Star zinc licence first. Confirmation of early cash flow should help sentiment.

Wouldn't it be fair to say that as gold production increases all in costs per ounce will decrease. Or at least that's how it normally works !.

Looking at the 20 year zinc chart it appears to be at the bottom of a rising trend line. Assuming that holds it should move up again. But incredibly volatile and sensitive to the Chinese market.

PL or anyone - where do you think the low will be for AIM (AXX) ?. Its in a horrible downtrend at the moment.

At least plenty going on in the background with the latest RNS. If, as according to PL, they are stretched for cash I am not sure why they are fast tracking these projects.

Given the current low price of zinc l hope they don't go all out to ramp up production. But the £600k would be nice.

Why has AA bought into ARC and their exploration project in Zambia for a fairly considerable sum when they could take on BR ?.

In this market l am not sure whether any news is material. AIM just goes down and down. At the Indaba yesterday, when discussing copper, it was pointed out that the explorers hold the assets but don't have the money to forward them. Nor will they let them go cheaply. Sums up my portfolio at the moment.

The panel at the indaba were confident in gold remaining strong. Central banks are buyers and with the recent sanctions over Ukraine there is now less incentive for some countries to hold dollar denominated assets.

Listening to the indaba this afternoon l think l have just been sold on the nuclear idea. Does seem to make sense. Then l realise there is a certain person in Russia who has a lot of gas and oil, controls a nuclear power station in Ukraine and might find it convenient to change peoples opinion about that. This Green argument getting too complicated for me. But some interesting debate at the Indaba regardless.

Jamie, no. They were of the opinion that it would follow long term trends. There would be substitution rather than increased demand and the hype wouldn't materialise.
