Without me going through all your posts on iii what is this stocks NAV value? As per: The Company shall promptly but having due regard to all applicable legal, governmental and regulatory constraints and with a view to maximising shareholder value, dispose of all its assets in an orderly fashion. If the Company's Ordinary Shares are trading at a price below the NAV per Ordinary Share, the Company shall immediately effect a return of capital through a cash distribution to Shareholders. The Company shall continue to seek new investment opportunities. If the Company's Ordinary Shares are trading at a price above the NAV per Ordinary Share, the Board will selectively determine, on a periodic basis, whether or not to make new investments. In addition, the passing of Resolution 5 provides the Board with authority to purchase and cancel up to 70 per cent. of the company's Ordinary Shares through general share buy back or tender offer as a means by which the Company can effect returns to Shareholders.

Whats all this about sale of all assets, as per the news at the end of March?

Didnt know about a EGM (unless it's required for the share issue etc), maybe you can email back and ask about the EGM? AGU are very good at updating and talking to the shareholders BA I had in mind 2010 to 2011 so thats about right...

the spread is not as bad as you think. I did a dummy buy today and was quoted 15.5p

I'm trying to give a fair view on this stock, not ramp, deramp or anything like that, I try and know as much as possible before going in feet first.. Thus my last few posts. This is the reason why I think EML need to make a move either direct with EXT or more KAH.. And hence a rights issue required to raise the required cash... And start EML off in the big league..

It seems to be cheaper to the company and allot easier to give them all to one or two current major holders.. As per RIFTand AGU.. Us small guys dont get a look in (unless they are really going for it in share capital)..... The reasons below are why I'm not 101% behind this stock at the moment, I have 100k shares to keep my foot in the door, and will hold.. But I would really like to see a solid move in the game direct with EXT holding.. As I mention before I see that Dattles has gone this route direct..

So speaking out lound here, will there be a rights issue to get the cash required to make a move for other stocks? 3M will not get them far... If EML are going down this path, they have to have the cash to do it.. OK they have the paper accounts which look good with the KAH and EXT holding, but they need to keep these for the poker game. Other investment houses (which EML are in a way trying to be whilst stocks are low) are bringing in large external investors to give them the cash to make the purchases, EML will need to have a rights issue of some sort to continue, unless they have a secret holding .. Speaking out lound finished..

My aim is not to pull the original stake out, and set myself a target of the SP before i sell, for example POG, target SP of £20 to £25, then I will sell (and consider this over 5 to 10 years I think it's realistic). I work for myself, so I'm in a position (if work keeps coming in) to keep the whole investment in, and then when I see a stock I like invest in that as well (of course keeping to the limit on holding stocks). Once the market gets back to a better level I will stop buying and just hold. With regards to FND also follow the posts on hotcopper, (ASX stocks) some good reading on there. People in contact with the FND MD. Seem to be excited with the gold prospects.

I'm not worried about cash for the sl@g pile, I was getting at how much cash they have to make the purchases they held the meeting for. i.e. how much more of EXT or KAH for example can they afford if they are still going down that path.. It's been quiet lately considering they got the go ahead on the 10/04/08 .. Thats why I'm saying a few posts back the next purchase will be interesting, EXT, KAH, or another path...

Agree with both of you.. I've been following the markets for a couple of years, but was waiting for the next big downturn before I made my move..(This is my first recession). And last October I started, keeping my portfolio to under 10 stocks, and doing research, invested a nice sum.. I have one or two bad buys, but will hold until they bounce.. Today I went over the 200% mark for the whole portfolio, and this is the start of the 5 to 10 year plan.. Getting out before the next big downturn which will happen.. And then start again..

With ref the men, you know as you are a seasoned trader what they are about, especially Dattles, but the general trader that has entered the market with the drop will not have come across these people before... The general trader are looking at the company, and thinking sl@g pile? And shares in company listed on the ASX that might get taken over, JV or whatever... EML need to go for the bullet to get really noticed.. Saying that I would like to know how much cash they have currently, any idea?

Personally I would like to see the next direction for EML, they had the meeting to gain authority to go off and get undervalued stock, but have not show much activity in this.. The next move will be the most interesting one..

Note EXT are up to A$5.20, getting back to the high in late March...
