Then you have good old Simmo. Simmo doesn’t think very highly of Copl. He thinks it’s a disgrace, can’t raise funds from banks, can’t get the oil out etc and doesn’t rate the leadership team at all. Despite all of this evidence. Simmo has been regularly buying Copl because nothing will show a failing company up more than Simmo buying more shares!!! That’ll teach ‘em

One month on and still stuck in a slow decline

It seems stuck now in this trading range.

No point asking why anyone posts on here, as it’s pretty obvious isn’t it?

1. Positive positing all the time = long term holder wanting to hold for large final pay day.

Maybe also be a paid individual for a trading group needing an SP rise.

2. Positive sometimes / negative other times = trading it and positional posting.

May also be number 1s who are getting nervous and need reassuring and a venting rant

3. Constant negative posting = shorting the share (spread betting too on short)

May also be paid by bond holders or shorting groups to do so (can be spotted by sheer volume in short space of posts) to get price down.

Pretty much covers it.

For fun look back over a couple of days of posts and decide who fits where :)

Just a reminder for Fastfood who scoffed about the fact that the cro role is to increase value of the company.

He knows that mcap isn’t the company value, but posts assuming everyone is stupid and doesn’t know that.

So here is Easys post to help explain that:

Assets: $100m+, Booked oil reserves: 33.8m barrels of oil(Prices at $2 per barrel which is fire sale prices is worth $67.6m, Gas injected in the ground(Can be sold): $60m, OIP under COPLs land 1+ billion barrels of oil(Let’s price it at $0.5c per barrel as it’s not booked and factor in only 50% recovery which would make the asset worth $250m…

So from the above… $12m MCAP but COPL is sitting on a value of $477.6m with some heavily discounted figures and I haven’t even factored in carbon capture and storage potential(Another money printer for oil companies)…

Correct that’s exactly what I’m saying and your agenda spin about sinking in, assumes everyone thinks a CEO is like a lovable uncle.

His role is to increase company value and that is measured in assets and NAV in O&G. The mcap is not the value as you know that’s a trading metric.

Otherwise when a takeover occurs then it would be always the mcap that is paid which it is not.

Ff spend more time worrying about your ‘friends’ hard drive conviction if I was you. Less time being laughed at on here

Frankly the CEO doesn’t really care that much whether a 1000 personal investors hold for one week or hold for ten years, let alone ‘getting rid of them’

His role is to increase the value of the company, oversee the operation etc etc etc. Whether he does it well or badly is a different argument.

He certainly doesn’t care one jot about having or not having long term share holders each with less than 10 million shares. Why would he? It’s irrelevant to his job.

So please quit your tedious agenda. Trade if you want. Hold if you want. I doubt anyone on here takes you seriously.

The bonds again. Not worth worrying about as they’ll all be cashed in on the run up to JV or production increase.

They’re increasing in regularity now though so it looks like they’re being told to get on with it for some reason?

Ed, I can roll with that. It’s more positive than my view which is for the next 3-6 months without the acceleration of a JV, there will be small incremental SP roses caused by production improvement.

I disagree that there won’t be more bond conversions. Copl doesn’t have enough cash flow yet to stop the conversions. In fact I’m not sure if given an option of paying back SL or bonds, or drilling a new hole, Art would even choose debt repayment?

That’s my more cautious view.
