If you genuinely do not know how companies are valued in a negotiation or don’t understand valuation models like the Chicago Method then please do yourself a favour and stay quiet. It’s embarrassing.

One simple example. A field in the countryside is valued at X. If they find resources within it untouched is it still worth X?

If then a neighbouring field is given a license to exploit the field (houses, mining or carbon storage) is it still worth X?

If your answer is Yes, it’s still X then you’re likely to be called Leeman and likely to remain unsuccessful

In your model what if Exxon offer $5 a barrel for Copl?

Where does that leave lth even with dilution?

If you read GGS doesn’t work and it will never reach 2000 bopd that’s not likely to wash, as GGS is a proven method and the bopd has been significantly higher than 2000 bopd without the benefit of GGS.

If WTI prices are rising and continue to do so, the 2000 bopd target from Cowan is certainly going to bring welcome profits in.

Copl could be hitting that number in next few months and then it will be interesting to see how much further it can take it?

There are posters on here with a real understanding of Oil & Gas. Some with the same knowledge levels of Finance. They post for an against the status quo.
