Pompey - I have previously posted a comment on my {somewhat jaded) view of the value of the Chinese contracts that you may care to check out and possibly dismiss.

You are bang on by focussing on order base and revenue stream - any new news will have a dramatic impact on the share price. Meanwhile in your position I would scrutinise and take careful notes from all previous RNS's and read all of the info on ENET's website to be fully up to date in your own mind during the waiting period - but that's just my opinion and not intended to be patronising,

However a serious question about customer base will not be answered with any accuracy on here - sadly

$2m in the bank has definitely created a valuable breathing space to get the show on the road.

But where did it come from ? .... 700k advance payment from an existing customer and selling a big chunk of itself to the market - this is not income from selling goods and services to customers - ie not income stream which is vital to a successful Company.

Notwithstanding that we can be sure that the management will have definitely put their big boy pants on and will be working their as$es off to get high level orders - meanwhile still a gamble IMO.

The TSP exit is effectively a poison chalice for ENET, it means ENET will actually have to pay their bills in order to keep the lights on and not hide behind what is effectively a an insolvency protection mechanism. That is IMO why the the share price slumped on the 'news'

I'm not saying that ENET cannot pay it's way in the future - and prosper significantly but it will need solid new orders and verifiable income stream to get there.

I wonder if the ENET technology has the capability of tracking Helium as it floats off into outer space ? If so .... there's a huge potential for a massive order from HEI here!

Although I am at a stone age level of 'tech-savvyness' I tend to agree with Skid about the negligible possibility of any Chinese deal resulting in payments being made - the modus operandi being to steal and copy western intellectual property - the populace are indoctrinated to have a pathological hatred of the west and piracy of IP is actively encouraged and indeed funded by Xi Jinping's CCP regime. Zero chance of an income stream there IMO.

Regarding the other aspects of the viability of Ethernity ...... hands in the air on that one -

I just don't know but in the short term there is a good chance that big money can be made trading this by piggy backing on the share price volatility created by the extreme rampathons and subsequent reality checks at the mo - as long as Petro wisely said you dont get left holding the bag.

I'm not invested here yet, still watching and waiting, and inclined to wait for an RNS before buying - or not. However Cyrox, Legin252, and Skid have caught my attention as posters to listen to. Many others on here seem to be like children in the 'penny arcade' whooping and hollering in the naive hope that they can determine how the numbers land.

And while I am being somewhat waspish - 'filtering' someone that you disagree with is simply

Victoria - I'm just a, usually silent, AIM interested observer with no axe to grind here - however you seem to be positioning yourself for a massive wail-athon if things don't work out - just be a grown assed human and make your own decisions based on fundamentals and thorough research. IF and I say IF things don't work out it will be a bit juvenile to boo hoo on here saying .... "its not fair Mikey made me do it - wail, sob"

Davee - If your original holding was not fully divisible you will have received an additional small sum. Eg I originally had 800 shares and received two credits into my Nom client account - one of £675, and another of £3.38 to compensate for the 'bit of share left over' ps I have ISA and Nom accounts with XO (Jarvis) - other brokers may show things slightly differently on their platforms.

AZN is one of the cornerstones of my Divi / kids inheritance / silly purchase portfolio . . . its tempting to cash in at these levels, but as I don't have anything meaningful to do with the proceeds right now I'm sitting on my hands and perhaps think again if there is bid talk. ps Spikey . . . . I love the phrase ' dangling rather cheaply '

hmmm . . . Pascal's comment about 'someone' recognising value here seems tantamount to inviting a bid . . . or is it just an ever so slightly mischievous aside to his broader comment

I appreciate your opinion Pokerchips - I may well have a dabble on a retrace - my average is 1431 - even with my first big tranche at 1190 a few years ago. - my other biggie is NG. I sleep like a baby with these two, which has perhaps led me to a bit complacent. I love the notion of Glaxo being a safe haven : )) Once again thank you for taking the time to share.

Bullish and upbeat view of GSK on Motley Fool today - but I'm still a bit reluctant to significantly add at the mo - despite wanting decent Divi's to fund a couple of years backpacking career break meandering - is it me or has the supertanker still got a massive turning circle ahead ?
