Agreed - escapetohome - having a finger on the pulse of noise and ramping/deramping episodes- and trading the swings is a great way to make money short term and when there is a dearth of solid verifiable news and the nitty gritty of the state of the balance sheet is largely unknown, emotion will rule the day and the nimble footed can do very well. Cheers Hull : )) ...... yes my football comment was very much tongue in cheek juxtaposing the irony of mindless entrenched polarisation of opinion in both a particular share or football team. Mercifully the chants of "we're gonna kick you're effin heads in" has all but disappeared on the terraces ....... but not so much so when it comes to share chat rooms!!!

The respectful dialogue and opinion exchange of yourself and Skid is helpful and thought (and research) provoking - props to you both for that - because much of the rest is just noise imo

As stated before I really appreciate and respect the dialogue between Hull and Skid - respectful, polite, incisive and informative - long may it continue.

The only problem I have with Hull is his appalling choice of football club - but if it is his Local team then all is forgiven - in fact big respect for that, Skid has not shown his hand in this important matter however I will give him the benefit of doubt and assume that he has made a good choice and is an Aston Villa man - although he does come across as a bit of a rugger man : ))

I would like to float a question out here ..... Given Ethernity's low market cap atm - is it possible / probable that a takeover approach will be made?

Oops fat finger ..... cont' .... how things work in the higher levels of tech management is very useful to me - who looks at things from an Investor perspective rather than a momentum in and out trader

Skid - thank you for your incisive ..... and patient response, much food for thought there. you have obviously recognised that my career background has been in industries that are practically 'stone age' by comparison !! - your knowledge in this sector and understanding of strategy and howthings work in the higher

But surely, when you are a formerly struggling minion like Ethernity you need to have a credible customer / customer base and some profile before the real high level movers and shakers will give you the time of day - unless you already have a personal reputation based access to top tier decision makers.

Admittedly most run of the mill 'networking events' are overwhelmed with wanabees, hand crankers, dreamers and those that want to pick your brains - or you pockets.

Hull - thank you so much for your information. My post was fundamentally about the thrust and presence of Ethernity in the market place and the importance of newsfeeds and publicity to ' get the name out there'. I am excited about the Tarana product and it's uptake in the USA

it certainly fills in the gaps in high speed broadband in more rural areas. The potential in less developed countries is absolutely phenomenal - given the fact that ENET tech is a significant part of the Tarana product is something that should be 'shouted from the rooftops' at every opportunity IMO - hence my fixation on newsfeeds, constant updates of progress, solid investor relations. publicity and maximising the profile of ENET.

Tarana appear to be both an exhibitor and a major sponsor of this event.

I cannot however find any mention of ENET - surely this is just the sort of place to showcase their products and bathe in the reflected glory of being a supplier of tech to Tarana.

IMO this is not the time to be a shrinking Violet or quietly ride on the coat-tails of Tarana's success.

Impressive CV's for the two new appointees ..... interestingly Aviva B. has held significant positions in Investor Relations previously . It would be great for the PI's in if her input and expertise in this field would bubble up to the surface in a less frustrating news flow.

Totally agree onlyprofit I was in exactly the same position 15 years ago- with similar numbers. It took me 10 years to pull my way back - by becoming risk averse and INVESTING only in blue chip high dividend stocks (and automatically re-investing the dividends).

Nowadays I treat the AIM as an exciting high adrenalin gamble in a casino but only with stake money that I am content to lose. Skid put into a nutshell recently citing High risk/High reward .Compelling yes but not best for your retirement pot or your kids education/ house deposit fund...... Disclaimer I am close to retirement and have zero time left to 'earn' back losses - so perhaps this skews my viewpoint.

Pompey - thanks for the kind words - yes you cannot have to much background knowledge here. Another suggestion is to read as many of Skid's posts and surrounding posts for context that you have time for. IMO he clearly has vast knowledge of ENET, the tech and the industry and is a valuable resource for facts and background info. He seems to be a voice in the wilderness here because facts and reality often fly in the face of the emotion based gold rush fever rampathons that occur on shares like this.
