Having 'seen' CC operate in the CEO role for 18 months now I have a certain amount of trust in her. She's added a level of commercialism to her obviously strong scientific credentials, making sure she is surrounded by the right people to get the job done. I believe the interim result webcast went above and beyond most SH's expectations, largely on account of CC's barely uncontrollable excitement and positivity. That's not normally how she operates and I don't believe for one second that she would want to set expectations that can't be delivered on, she just doesn't come across like that.

Until the funding is confirmed we can continue to argue, but nobody here knows. I just think, taking everything into account, Avacta are absolutely primed to realise the astonishing value that has been built into IP / business. The Christmas turkey could be a big one this year.

Agreed. Rare Earths is its own mini bubble at the moment, yet MKA sticks out as being undervalued against its fundamentals

I was working through the downside case last week and the most bearish case I could come up with was that the trade war de-escalates. But the mitigation, like you say, is that the damage is done, strategic importance of ex-China supply is not going away. The news might act as a damper, but only temporary

I won't have life changing returns here, but got a decent chunk at 12p and averaged up at 30p levels. Not sold/traded a penny yet.

The risk/reward balance is still so massively out of whack I can't bring myself to sell anything at anywhere near these levels.

In my humble opinion the SP goes mich higher than today's 75p, higher than the 111p and into multi-£ territory

Bigthings, take a look Exhibit 1 in the trinity link and the cos/probability weighting

111p is a weighted value......25% cos for 6100, 15% 6103, 7.5% 7103, 10%for the platform 15%

Clearly a lot of these are binary so value could massively outperform 111p.....or slightly underperform

Plus you can argue about market size until the cows come home

I'm struggling to see the downside/bear case with MKA right now. Against potential multiple material upside inflection points it's an easy hold for gold.

Esduk, do you think MMs use it as a way to accumulate for large buys (in cahoots with the buyer) to suppress price until they have the volume?

Risk of trading this is obviously that some rather large potential inflection points could materialise at any point.

I personally think we're going to see something coming out of the DoD. A couple of the recent RNS's, around Inserma and that general update, feel like MKA are setting out how investable their current position is in the US. (I am forever the optimist)

Then you have potential EU grants and the impending SPAC.

I will happily forgo the smaller trading gains to sit on my hands and reap 100% of the big jumps.

Deserttrader - that was what interested me. I was going to try and find the bit and replay, but it sounded like the closest deal to the line wasn't faridox or 6103, but another partnership opportunity, which her BD team were 'lazer focussed on' (US sp of laser for accuracy)

Strong sense that confidence levels are through the roof.

Wasn't expecting such levels of positivity from that session!

Downside case for MKAR at ~$150-250m feels like low probability now

Upside case of $600-800m means we have huge headroom on SP. Expect the US to wake up and drive this higher in the afternoon.

Very difficult to pick an exit price on this stock :)
