I'll be honest, I don't understand ex-China supply well enough. But it would seem to me that Mkango/Hypromag offers one of the only short-term access routes to Neodymium through the recycling process, all at a good cost point and enviromental merits etc.

Supply (tonnage) may be negligible, for now, but that could be prioritised, for requirements like defence.

Feels like it should be taken out by someone, like a USAR.

MKA is a beast in the short-term and I think sitting on hands and waiting for that to be fully appreciated should pay dividends.

The potential valuation for Mkango is vast and way beyond the current SP. That is 'nice' to post and read about because, I think(?), the majority of people here are invested for the long term, maybe with some trading funds along side. I couldn't give a rats a55 about short-term movements.

This is all just noise right now, with a splash of world war 3 dynamics. Volumes are low, nothing to worry about.....personally looking forward to the next 4-8 weeks of newsflow

In short the National Resources and Justice Network have backed the parliamentary decision to grant Mkango a licence.

The NRJN appear to some sort of anti-corruption agency, so not clear on how much clout they have. So this might be a no-news story, but a good news no-news story at that :)

They had to extend the deadline because the SEC approval needs to occur before that date, altho can be extrnded.

Typical F4 approvals take between 2-4 months

Which gives mid Apr to mid June

It could take longer if there's complications, but that might be seen as less likely given the amount of time already spent on this plus 'fast track' pressures.

None of us really know, so feel free to argue your edge case

Whilst we're at it (speculating, on a message board), I also like to think that the reason that the DFC can't announce their African investment, due to 'confidentiality', is entirely because of the confidential nature of the MKAR nasdaq listing process.

The thing is, you could easily trade MKA in these fallow news periods, if that's your thing. It's been pretty predictable.

How about, the price dropped from 70 to 50 when the SPAC got delayed and there was doubt it was happening. That hasn't be priced back in now that the timings have been confirmed and the F-4 filed.

One I pondered last week, and haven't checked thru yet... is the quality/purity of output/product from Hypromag up to standard? I am sure it's all good, just not seen any sign of commercial sales from the UK yet? Why not?
