Hebridean9, yes, I think it’s in the region of £77m, though stand to be corrected but, however this plays out, Harl seem covered. Don’t forget Belfast alone is having a £75m upgrade. Only £12m is coming from Harl. I agree that a growing company needs to be careful with cash flow. Currently, in/ outflows seem balanced and JW seems to be taking time to get the rates on further financing, which will replace the Riverstone cash, to an acceptable level. A lot of seems in there! Inevitable with a company at this stage of development I think.

Hebridean9, if we are to develop IM I’m sure a cash raise is needed and, indeed, Liberum are probably the ones to raise in US. If a sale of IM is decided upon then the cash will be received without the need for a raise. If the former, I think will be better for the longer term. If the latter, the effect in the sp will be more immediate.

HeresHopin, Sub 10p values us at c£17m. I can’t see that happening, but, if it does I’ll be in for my second tranche without waiting for the ‘bounce’ as it really won’t be there for many minutes imo.

Spudtheplumber, thanks for that. I agree with you about excessive remuneration AR. and the Rnli mis-info. I’m not sure about the Triumph debacle, have to check that one out. There’s obviously a lot of potential here. IM seems a real jewel but a pretty distant one at the moment. On the ship building side we have it to prove yet, though The barges seem to be having a slow roll out. Is this just teething troubles or poor management? I think a hold is my way until more convincers come along

Spudtheplumber, When doing research I’ve come across posts from you that were very positive. Now, you seem the opposite. I’d be grateful if you could post what incidents, in particular, occurred to have changed your mind.

What I simply don’t understand is, why leave it so late? It never goes down well. It seems JW/AR always produce late, even amending the year end to give them more time. It doesn’t inspire confidence. It isn’t looking like we’ll hear from the JR now until the autumn. I’m holding off buying more until, as I’m expecting, a new year low has formed and bounced.

Broomtree, Heat pumps seem to me to be a non starter, cost and efficiency wise. If we can’t buy gas boilers in the future, more people will imo opt for electricity unless hydrogen becomes mainstream.

Bubble2021, I think BP were involved in the early stages of IM, other holders with a good memory may confirm ? They pulled away from it some years ago. Info’s might be interested I guess if Sir Jim doesn’t spend all his money buying United! :-)

Pad1000rr, thanks for that. It appears that figure is for the conversion from gas to hydrogen. I seem to remember reading somewhere that , a few years ago, the original estimates for the construction of the facility were of the order of £300m. That is doubtless now out of date but sort of indicates a field to hydrogen ready cost of over a half a billion.

Pad1000rr. Interesting. I hadn’t heard of that study. Can you provide a link to access it or maybe some details of dare and origin.
