The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Thanks for clarifying other people's opinions!
I'm not having a go at anyone. All I think is that people just need to understand that opinions are just that and no matter how much knowledge people have there is no certainty. I liked the previous post especially the part to declare they have no idea what they are talking about. I think this can be said about most people in these uncertain times.
Your opinion is refreshing, there are far too many people who think they know what they are talking about.
Please can someone explain the latest RNS. Does the appointment shore capital mean anything or is this just a replacement for their existing advisers/brokers?
Please don't use the phrase strong and stable it's got far too much baggage! Let's hope this share starts to perform.....
The problem is that until this share price can maintain itself above 45p investors must be thinking twice about buying at the current price even if there is positive news and outlook.
Is it just me or does TMMG always react badly to positive news. Its not an easy share to follow. Mission lets try and issue some negative news and see if we can trigger a positive response to the share price. It seems to have a real issue with breaking 45p and having the confidence to stay there. It keeps following the same pattern.
Happy Days.....Finally seeing this share break the 45p mark in a very long time. Hope the share continues on its slow and steady rise. Just don't fall away TMMG.
See subject!!!
Come on Mission. With all the positive news on marketing and advertising and digital media being a great part of this I was hoping that we might have seen 45p. More patience required.
I decided to keep my investment with Mission, not sure it was the best decision at the moment. Hoping that the new year brings about further positive news and that share prices starts to reflect this. I'm relying on the old saying that good things come to those who wait.......
I've been in TMMG for a while now and even with all the positives the share price continues to move around the 45p mark, even with all the positives. It may be the wrong time to sell but I'm thinking that there may be better shares to invest in at this moment. The housing shares have taken a bit of a hit for no real reason over the last 2 days and there may be better gains for my money at this moment in time. Hence thinking collect the divi then re-invest elsewhere. I would love to see this get to 60p though!
Hi, does anyone know how the dividend day works i.e. the date to hold the shares for the divi is tomorrow for payment December. If I sold some tomorrow would I still be entitled for the Divi or would I need to hold the shares until the close of play tomorrow?
It would be nice to see some increase in the share price. We tend to see the drops on the sells, but not always the increase on the buys. Hoping that following the AGM we may get more news and gradual increases and well as the dividend in July.
I have a trading account with Beaufort and seeing the rise in the share price thought I'd check what my shares would be if I simulated a sell. The best firm price I was getting was around 40p even though the bid was around 45-46p. Can anyone explain why that would be, is it to force people to stop selling?
The spread is pretty rubbish. It would be rice if it starts to move closer to the ask price.
Do people think that with the positive news stories and upcoming end of year final results being published in March that we may seem some further upward trend on the share price in the short term.
I'm hoping that this one rises further into 2015. Hoping the awards continue and the business grows. Only wish I got in when this was in the teens. Originally invested a few years back around the 30p point and watched it drop. Hoping that patience is a virtue and the good times continue.
On this site recent buys seem to registered as sells. Why would this be?
Hi, does anyone expect any additional volume/interest and potential improvement on share price with the upcoming dividend.
