In fairness Tristan has not been on holiday the three times I've called but I found it a very pleasant experience indeed , once when he wasn't available he called back within the hour ... as some book holidays well in advance and in fairness the bonds were anticipated to be done by now ????

Fair enough Aubery we are all her for the same reason and all have a different approach to what stresses us .... Same as we all cope in different ways ....I'm a glass half Full ., some mention no names have a glass half empty ,, then there is say jonsie or alan G who have a full pint with one over the bar as well ... Also all here for the same reason !

Aubery do you not feel it;s possible that shorts are bad for sentiment given that in the main they are seen as a bet against the CO and the complete opposite of why we are here ... you can tell us until the cows come home that they are purely a hedge but would you have a substantial bet that is so ????

I think it perfectly normal to take a positive from it and feel no need to give any reason !!!!

What I am hoping is that they now continue to reduce their shorts as I assume given low volume at the moment it is unlikely to happen overnight ???? also because My guess for the RNS is Monday I would have liked it to be Zero .... could they have reduced more today ???

John I see it as a positive when shorts are reduced but I still worry that they still hold 2.26 %... some say not to worry as it's a hedge but for me I struggle to reconcile that they are part of JPM and still shorting > But Hey I also have a problem with our major IIs lending to shorters , Although I assume they wouldn't do that if they were about to sell out ? All a good bit above my pay grade I'm afraid...
I'm encouraged by the link Aubery posted earlier re the lady from JPM saying this is the perfect time to sell bonds but not sure if we fit her bill given that ours are "junk" bonds ...
sometimes (actually often) the more I learn the more my head seems to hurt !!! especially on the days it feels like I left my brain on the pillow in the morning ...
But I have to say I'm feeling very positive right now ,cant put my finger on why but I am ..
