I think we now know all there is to know really John so doubt any aces up his sleeve .... What he did say does all make perfect sense to me so I really feel they know whats required lets just hope they can now meet any lenders needs or find a partner that comes quite cheep ?
I hope that as some of the convertible bonds that are being returned will trade off some of the pending dilution ?

sorry guys but can anyone remember where and by who BHP or Euro Chem was mentioned as a potential "partner /Investor" Been a tough couple of days and can't find it ??? think it may have been yesterdays FT article ?
Any thoughts as to why they would be mentioned if they weren't in the picture ?

Good question Aubery . at what depth is the wet stuff and can we assume that is probably the biggest risk ? can we get through it before the clocked "tocked"
another question is if we are only going with two TBMs ? can one of the slow downs be at lockwood ? presumably it would be just an inspection chamber and not a cavern for building the TBM ?? ( more pennies saved ?)
so many avenues to explore now as a change of tack is needed ?

Glad you came back early Myo as I think right now even though your post will probably get lost in the mist it is worth a try !
Please all the undecided here do listen to what CF had to say yesterday ... My worry now is that even with massive rewards to possible lenders they still need the risk to be lowered ! So now they have given themselves six months prove this. Cf stated what needs looking at, what needs to be addressed , and that they are exploring every option. I think now the BOD really do know what is being asked for and maybe they were blinkered and concentrated on progress and lost sight of it ( haven't we all done that) ... I just hope they have the funds to get to where they need to and manage in the process to dot the Is and cross the Ts that are needed to find the funds. Personally I think they will ,IN MY OPINION guys .... Cf stated that it's all about risk v reward for the lenders so come on BOD you have six months now so get it done... If you look at all the video's with the engineers you can see them excited about the project but always with that excited " we are going where no man has before" and we are being provided with all the toys no expense spared ??? well now they will need to prove their mettle but to a budget ? can they do it ?? i BELIEVE THEY CAN !
I saw all the fantastic attitude and determination in all those video's and believe it when they say that all the workforce are committed ... I guess now you have to feel a bit sorry for Herrenkenct as they only get to supply one more TBM ,

Could not agree more emilyt ! I find it very disturbing that there is anyone like it let alone the amount we see here . what's the motivation ? Disturbing and depressing . I'm very glad not to have come across people I know that are like it that's for sure . I can't even wish them some of the same as not only is it not in me but I feel in their twisted mind they will have won then !

Sorry avocet but I disagree ... We don't know what they will do over the next six months at all . they will not be creating 80 billion shares IMO . If they bring in a "partner" who knows what dilution that would create and if it passed muster with the IIs AND PIs ??? And if the cost structure changes the ability to attract investment may change ? and if we get some of the "risk" out of the way it may change things .. I'm not trying to dress this up because yes as things stand this is utterly gutting BUT it's not over yet IMO... six months time who knows what progress will have been made ,,, Did he say first poly won't be until 2031 ????
I think we will hear more yet so personally I'm holding tight and hoping all is not lost ,,,

And don't forget some highly respected institutions paid 15p for these not so long ago ??????
We'll probably get diluted again yes but IMO there is still a gain to be made here .
