just to day neil posts “ smooth trading m&s, no fuss, just growth and a continuous improvement plan.” i do not get nasty or personal with you 4 ,i would just like an honest answer please not too much to ask , people listen to all your long posts of praise and i’m sure many regret as down big on their 24 positions.. i will give you an out here .. m&s. rubbish share price today is due to analysts both side of the pond were fed a load of bull**** ! by m&s .. it’s just not good business nor decent .. sensibly answers only , any abuse or insulting name calling will be reported, just give a good answer as i have no clue

David Hello …I did look into CFD a year ago..tried a couple of dummy runs not convinced I beleive about 70% of the CDF trades are unsuccessful.. but I thank you for taking the time to suggest it to me . I kinda cook as is I think on my 43rd trade on this stock 41 successful the down side other than the SD is if my position goes wrong it can go very wrong .Yes I’m a huge M& S fan I’m at their lovely Kew store once a week I’m a foodie , also I don’t think I have an item of clothing in my wardrobe not from M and S …as a young man worked on Carnaby St , then The Kings Rd , then managed The Jigsaw Shops ( only 4 at the time ) was late 70s ..then went into restaurant buisness … unlike most of the posters on here I’m not financially trained I just really enjoy the buzz of making a shilling for such little effort ….

Yes JJ you are correct in this .. honestly I don’t feel Marks a bad buy at todays price , I paid more a few days ago ..but I feel SP has been terribly manipulated since November .. and fail to see what’s changed for the good in 2025; unless I’ve missed something what do think !?

JDs you are mistaken ,amusingly I bought back in after listening to you guys !! im still sitting slightly negative …plus my company holds stock in MS since 1980s topping up a little along the way ,I'm not concerned looking to sell my recent personal purchase at 365 and I will be very happy ,what bothers me is the constant positivity no matter how bad last 10 weeks have performed and how the outlook is in your eyes it looks like M S can do no wrong . I am on another site under same name and they are mostly honest and realistic in their posts .. no disrespect intended to you JDS you are one of the best DYOR …listen to you gut feeling good luck

Couerdelion I tottaly agree no matter how others try to disguise this fact ,I was not suggesting a massive increase in dividend just a fair one esp for the longterm investors ( which I am not )looking for 2%-3% interest …I only trade this stock as retail post April will have a very volatile year .

Pang you are correct low / insulting dividends has to be a factor on M&S day after day price freeze .

You mentioned you thought I might be a good trader ? I’m a lucky trader I think as I wrongly use it like a casino , if I was a long term investor like your good self across the board I would be better off as 25% of my quick flips is consumed by stamp duty . Though on MS where Longterm holders have watched a reduced value on their portfolio from 402 - 355 since November , I have enjoyed several traders all bar one profitable ..
