Took the hit and sold my 10000 shares at 392 I paid 399 plus expense £200 I bought a couple of days ago .losing more than I made on this stock earlier in the week .dropping almost 1k in total but not sad or disappointed with my judgement as no one , no analyst could of predicted a cyber breach esp at an Easter Peak. weekend and so close to the all awaited May results. See 388 now so although false accounting I’d be another £400 down ..

I’m a huge M and S shopper both for food hall and clothes but man ! you are hard work this last 7 months as an investor , It’s a lesson .. enjoy your life and the weekend. GLA I’ll be back Fender

And I am also pleased to agree with JDS ! maybe if we show each other a little more respect we could get along better and I think perhaps beneficial to us both so olive branch on offer to you ? Forest good buy ! I paid a little much at 399 but hey !!! GLA

Just bought this mornings sell back at 399.8p on the premise the card tech glitch will be old news soon and the May results close to being very good GLA

Hi Forest ,thankfully we set the same stop loss @408 though was a little sad when it triggered ,and here we are at 402 I must say I’m surprised that a till only issue has had this effect on the SP or is there more? I’d like to buy them back under £4 but doubt I’ll get the chance. GL

If you live close to the Kings Road it is not surprising you would not ! shop there ???? Please explain yourself to me and other readers ??????? … I lived at No 67 Kings Rd above a boutique called “Take 6 “ 3 great years from 1978 could have bought it for 29k had the salary but no deposite/ today priceless. JDS this is why I don’t talk to you .for gods sake and admit you get it wrong and stop others making money , you are very frustrated right now on this stock maybe it’s just your not cut out for share investment.. perhaps an isa may be best , I see your wife shops at M& S on the Kings Rd Chelsea very impressive but a long way off of where you live I would think

OMG ! JDS you surpass yourself in ignorance here I don’t talk to you cause you are aggressive and envious of how. The traders have done in the. Last 6 months , but please ! It’s 15.50 I can back more of this stock at 4.07 I sold at 4.08 on trigger. A fe w hours ago .. you can make money before the bells goes tonight , I put my neck on the line this will fly in 20 days

Duke if you are asking if people people look at the Markets on a daily basis I can only answer for myself an amateur trader and yes I do ! if you are asking do I read the post of others on here on an hourly/ daily basis ? not bloody likely! and if you do may I suggest you stay in more .

I’ve been very disciplined this year waiting and waiting and at close last night I took a leap of faith buying 4946 at 402 , then when the bell rang this morning doubled up another 4954 @ 401 but not been an easy trade by 9am I’m down £700 on my 40k investment oh well I thought pretty sure May will be good ,then out of the blue I’m almost £800 into profit after expenses, another traders rule take profit and never be greedy so put a stop loss at 4.08 , I wish you well Forest the LTH like yourself I feel will do very well no worries

I’d did try and LTH ,but I guess once a trader always a trader , not sold but put a stop @ 408 now 410 giving a big gain for my 22 hour investment … sky is the limit now fo m and s enjoy the sunshine and possibilities great things to come. GL Fender

After watching you LTH from the sidelines I thought last night you guys on M&S stock have done very well patients pays off , last night I split my working capital in 2 , bought back in at 402 with half , and 5 mins ago spent the other half buying in at 401 .. my 1 st trade of the year I’ve missed the buzz after going liquid at Xmas .. I do watch and listen to you LTH and my calculation is you have definitely of late surpassed us traders , I bought at a high price based on the thought pretty safe not likely to dive with a bigger possibility of gain ,going to sit this one out and not trade but in in a box forget it till I see Mays results

Absolutely JJ well said , I did spot that myself but apparently I’m not allowed to post an opinion ,yesterday out of the Blue after months of peace another attack on my code and character to which I asked JDs 15 to please leave me alone ,and today he goes like a crybaby about me to Chilting and Carrington who s last posts were rather good I thought

Yes I’m a trader Not ! A shorter and love it ,maybe you think it’s a crime ? I will tell you that I have in the last 6 months done very well on M&S I fully respect the LTH ( except you of course ) but for many their M and s holdings they bought at 399 have done nothing in 6 months where I picked and worked away with 50k at a time made 28 good trades and 3 bad one .. yes I have made nothing on this rise only a monthly bank income .. I have not spoken or offended you I ignore you ,so if you have nothing good to say about me please leave me alone ……you don’t want my attention

Morning ,missed out on buying back this stock by 1p a couple months ago at 320 ,

I currently hold no stock went totally liquid around Christmas,but if I were to get back into the stormy water M&S buying around 300/310 would be my 1st choice this or Lloyds .

Ontheup I enjoyed your post made a good read ..and the only reason not been at the table lately is that my timing on the swing has been out of sink and a 10p error on the volume I like could be very costly maybe Friday ..I wish you well on your top up if you paid too much your position will only be short a tiny bit but if correct you could see good gains very quickly .
