Though your comments and calculations turn out to be true saving investors money , watch out. for “Halla “ not sure if he is a Bot or just an idiot , promised us 400 weeks ago , then posts doing a 👋 5 this week as it went up 1.5% yet hiding the next day when it dropped 2% saying nothing , Neil hump another bully just not up to the mark a crybaby, boasting buy buy ! , top up at 385 450 by xmas , let me ask this is I find it mind boggling this cyber invasion Played down by people on here that encouraged fine people top up Top Up at 385 Are you going to say sorry when even after results we are at less then where we were at 8 months ago !? m and S have played this down so much now saying possibly £300 million cost , my guess is you can double this figure to .6 billion Big cover up and withheld honesty from the start , based on my workings and I’m good at this given this about 50% of their annual profit 2025-26 I value M &S a buy and hold / buy at 320/330 luckily I sold my stock at 380 put half into Lloyds half into Nat west , not bragging just being honest ..do what you like your money why should I care but please look at the basic arithmetic , Ps don’t listen to me I just don’t like to read the constant ramping from clearly unqualified people;on a sad loosing streak desperately trying to save face at the cost of others new to SD , good luck all chill and have a good weekend

I saw that too JD 375 down 10 could it be an error ? looks real but for 5 other sites holding it at 374ish ,..did see a big uncrossed sell for @bout 24m but that is nothing out of the ordinary

Thank you JJ your too kind , ..I did not pull a figure out of the sky ,my calculations were simple based on a pretty flat SP for 6 months , then I took 2.5% off for rising staff and running costs ie Nat Ins and minimum wage , then I took 5% off for the already £300m lost turnover due to Cyber attack amounting in total to about 20p drop Per share today .

only trying to same investors a little money , I will go back check my figures and try not to be so careless in the future ,

I did sell at 380 at a small loss on the trade . Let’s see how this week ends maybe I’ll save a little face

Hi JJ 🙂 I feel like a condemned man the night before , anyway I probably will appear tomorrow possibly with egg on my face the truth be known I hope so because I genuinely want the news and the SP to be good ,been a long time coming ,though I hold no stock personally along with the other directors of my little family buisness have held M&S for over 30 years

I think the 21st is a trap . a well planned manipulated trap can’t put my finger on it something is wrong I think come Wednesday I’m not sure the sp will rocket up that much , in fact come Friday I think it might be even less than now .I know it’s not what you want to hear and I’m probably the only one but hey GL

Trendz hello I think you are wrong in your calculations to say it’s unlikely for losses to reach the £100m the possible insurance payout by Sunday we will be on day 25 @ 4m per day are we not there already ? and this assumes it will all be hunky dory by tonight ? I think they are days if not weeks away and to say this is only a little blimp ?? really !🤔

Morning JD busy morning here so going offline but 1st in reply to you post , Like your comment is the 100M a red herring possibly and def a long way off being a done deal not to mention loss adjustment ,time factor and litigation fees , next I don’t think the 350days are gone SP still very vulnerable. and lastly M&S PR team ( I assume in house ) need to find new careers fast

Morning all . 8.17 am maybe like myself you are thinking should I shouldn’t l buy in / top up ?

The way I see it at circa 355 is there a bigger chance of reaching 375 than 335 ? it’s a close call but I would would hope a bigger chance of 375 which makes it a value buy ! But as a trader working on very tight margins ideally I would like back in at 350 risking missing the boat 🤔

Accountant thank you for posting food sales up 14%!! in the last few months great news and pleased to see the SP recover today on the strength of Insurance poss paying £100m ( before the loss adjusters claim their firewall was insufficient ) thinking of reinvesting and wonder with your knowledge do you know how much food sales are up over the last month ?? with no home deliveries ,lack of choice and high risk of your details being leaked ie DOB email and phone number ,which would let them take out loans and credit cards in your name ?😀

I have no idea ,though very grateful to M&S over the last 4 years one of my top earners ,but a little weary ,tired and older now ,any way no spare cash even if did go to 325 as took all my cash outta M&S on the 28th straight into banking ,Lloyds and Nat west 50-50 in each ‘ Good Luck and pleased to a little recovery today Best Fender

PS remember M&S is not ! the only stock on the market could do better and less dangerous elsewhere IMHO
