BIG DAY tomorrow yet M&S SP limped around been at my screen all day 382-384 like a damp Squibb on Guy- Fawkes where’s the excitement in that !!? ,I prediction for today was huge or dive like 393 for the players and 370 for the ones that feel they are being lead into a trap .nothing no reaction just weird , I not holding any stock , wanted too

Hi Forest Wish I’d seen this an hour ago , bought all my shares back @ 371.80 on Thurs sold the lot just now 384.5 very happy till I read this … For some reason that I can’t put my finger on had a bad feeling which way the 6th would go givin all the hype ..think I’ve jumped too soon now ,hay ho might get a chance to buy back ..good luck to all

Wow ! that’s a surprise ..I did not expect the chance to buy back in , price drop this morning following the heavy buying after the 4.30 bell ,I was waiting for 370 to buy back the stock I sold Friday @ 382 ..but happy with my purchase @ 371.80 looking for a little profit before the year end ..All hangs on the 6th ..but like I said at the golden goose was overheated at 393

Hi Forest ..did try and find out yesterday what M&S wage bill was in relation to turnover but no luck …also I did start to think along the lines as because the suggested 6+ % increase is only for the lower paid employees not all and I beleive Marks has always paid more than the min ,so as you say should not affect SP much But Nic on all employees may hurt ..looks like this today is off to a good start

Hi Fats 373 now confirms my lucky guess 393 was overheat , got my finger on the trigger to buy back the ones I sold last week ..the only thing that’s holding me back is how the hell can tomorrow budget ( let’s forget about the 6th for now ) push the price up ! ? , M&S biggest cost is wages at 6% to the min wage plus poss 2 % employers nic increase .makes me nervous but I don’t want to miss the boat ,what say you ?

Good reply post Fats , and agree on points raised , after some thought would be happy to buy back in anything in the 360s I’m in no rush ,maybe a smaller amount this time lol .

Thanks Fats and yes well aware of the very important 6th results , my thinking was the 393 price was already assuming the results were going to be excellent and what with the budget and the cost of staff wages rising with employers paying more nic for the staff ….But hey ! won’t be the 1st time I’ve called it wrong , trouble with site you can’t edit ( or can you ) I am going to relax and sit tight stick it back on 4% instant access for now , I wish you well Fats

Traded this stock about 25 times this year take small amounts of profit, thought I couldn’t lose went in big lat week with k125 , buying over 31000 shares , got out yesterday at a 382 loss of about 3.3k had I waited. and held my nerve today @376 I would of lost another 2500 overnight .,looking to buy back in before Xmas at 350 ….good luck player

Did similar as soon as the bell went at 8am this morning but sold the lot I’d collected at various prices over the last 2 years , as you say the results will have to be amazing and the way I see it I have made plenty and why take the risk ….if I’m right will back back on the day but hey ! I really don’t know

Yes the meal deal must admit enjoyed in my home many a movie night , But ! now same thing different price £15 instead of £12 a massive 25% increase ..Big ! Big!! mistake M&S giving the task to a man who charges £37 for basic fish n Chips in his pub .. Modestly over the last 15 years like to think I can spot a sleeper stock ..but !! though not a greedy man I’m not the best at getting out when the music stops ..Soooo ! how I see it as we speak …results out 6th Nov about 6 weeks away I have no idea what this will do to the SP. as the last lot were so fab .. I;am holding mucho stock in one basket here yes yes I know wrong. Many buys in last 2 years from as low as 97p to as much as 3.70 last week But ! before I put you all to sleep come Monday morning 8pm finger on the trigger Ionce the buy to sell spread settles. Im pulling the trigger for more , have you seen the size of the buys post close Friday one for £ 44 million ,..sure it’s all manipulated but I’m having more ,good luck all I’m praying making the sign on the cross .
